How THE OXFORD REVIEW germinated in the humblest of beginnings...

Long ago there was a frog - rather, a community of frogs, and they infiltrated the dreams of 2 separate but equally terrified children by using their amphbi-magick. Not only that, but when the children awoke, the frogs, through their hypnogogic powers of invisibility, would remain active and tactile whilst causing the children's parents to indicate (with a flourishing removal of the bed covers) that there was nothing there. But they WERE there, and this terror spawned a singular creativity /skewed perception of the physics of fauna for the aforementioned children. 
They had only to meet, years later, to recognise the mutual magickal experience between them. The collective unconsciousness and the residue of said experience was the catalyst necessary to loosen a floodgate of music and sync so glorious that is almost bittersweet, if not for the intervention of muses, similar in size and shape to the childhood frogs (curiously enough), who declared that the music is not bittersweet, but kismetic and karmic.

I interview people because I like talking with people and they talk back about what is important to them.  I interviewed a host celebrities back in the day, to include Gladys Knight, Kenny Rogers, Kool and the Gang, Harry Chapin, Bob James and others. Today, it's Squarepusher, Dwight Yoakam, Pat Metheny and more.  Plus, many other regular folks for hundreds of news and feature stories I've done.  Everybody has a story and it deserves to be told.  I want to help them tell it.

The idea of limouzine has started since may 2005 with a new idea to egyptian songs and arabic music through words, lyrics and poetry from the egyptian society with oriental tunes and western music like Fusion, Blues, Funk, Rock, Latin, etc. also traditional egyptian music is included not entirely western, the band members agreed to the name limouzine to deliver the words and music in a different new approach to the music scene in egypt.
