Over the past few years, Leeds-based producer and DJ Oscar Jones has been in the studio developing and refining his sound, blending influences from the Romanian and UK minimal scenes which can be heard in his latest releases with Tranquil, Duboka and Below Records. Oscar has also proven himself as a competent DJ and avid digger, bringing his unique selections of stripped-back rolling minimal to support the likes of Traumer, Jasper James and Laidlaw.

Born in the northeastern part of Romania, in 1990, more precisely in the city near the famous 7 hills, Pascani, the desire to step into the art of music comes from childhood when he participates in various radio publishing competitions such as Vibe FM, which aroused his desire to mix together defining elements of a song. Meeting different people at parties, from different corners of the world, with different perspectives improves his ability to understand principles behind the studio but also the DJ desk.
