John Barr stands for authentic vinyl culture, combined with modern digital technology & live re-edits.

He discovered electronic music in 1994 through the VIVA TV format Berlin House. Early influences came from the HR3 Clubnight and artists such as Sven Väth, Joey Beltram, Carl Cox, locals as Andy Düx, and DJ Norman, shaping his musical foundation from a young age.

In 1999, he got his first turntables and began playing in local clubs. His sound remains deeply rooted in Detroit & Chicago house, deep house, melodic techno, and Afro-house.

In 2006, he co-founded KollektivArt, leading to events and residencies across the Rhein-Main area.

Today he's a proudly part of -> OFFBEAT ReUnion, which are bringing back the good old vibes on the dancefloor.
