Anims announces its debut release, recruiting Ibiza mainstay Oriol Calvo and remixes from Kevin di Serna and Valentin Huedo.

Inspired by the energy of open-air parties on the White Isle, the first release on the freshly minted Anims imprint comes from previous resident of both Space Ibiza and Privilege, Oriol Calvo. An homage to long Balearic summers, ‘Love Loud’ features vocals from LMNL, the new project from Simon Batten, atop a driving and hypnotic production.
Following appearances on Innervisions, Watergate, and All Day I Dream, Argentinian DJ/producer Kevin di Serna delivers an emotive remix, adding his deft touch to the original’s lyrical melodies, harmonies, and
atmospherics. Rounding out the release, Ibiza’s Valentin Huedo turns in a deep and chugging remix, incorporating LMNL’s vocals into a rolling cut with sharp snares and pounding kick drums.

Anims is a multi-faceted entertainment platform founded by ex-Formula 1 racer Jaime Alguersuari, now international DJ/producer Squire. It encompasses an event brand for interactive conferences and talks (virtual and physical), musical events, and an imprint for genre-free electronic music.

Emerging from the frozen landscapes of Trondheim, Norway, and propelled by the vibrant currents of Barcelona, his birthplace, Pedro Sanmartín exemplifies the spectrum of what electronic music can embody. This three-track EP titled "Mediterranean", set to release worldwide at the end of June and exclusively on Beatport, is a testament to Pedro's journey, his evolution, and the fascinating way his life experiences are translated into soundscapes.

"Tahali" takes the listener on an audio journey into the heart of Sanmartín's artistry. The title evokes imagery of untouched landscapes and starlit nights, encapsulating an aura of organic house music that resists any attempts to be boxed into a singular genre. Sanmartín uses warm pads like an impressionistic painter, each stroke building upon the other, crafting a melody that unfolds like a story told around a campfire. "Tahali" is a testament to Pedro's grasp on the visceral nature of music, the way it moves us and allows us to transcend our immediate surroundings.

"Mediterranean" is an ode to Pedro's roots, its groovy and catchy bassline functioning as a rhythmic anchor grounding us in the spirit of European club culture. The convergence of artistic minds births magical synergies that inspire the creation of wonders beyond the grasp of singular imaginations.

Tucumán & Rembrandt are sonic illustrations of that and we are grateful that @fabiankrooss joined forces with the @kon-faber duo to create this energetic EP as we celebrate SAISONS022.

Berlin-based Kon Faber & Fabian Krooss are masterful electronic musicians whose works are characterized by an artful blend of futurism and intricate, emotional soundscapes. Their songs are carefully crafted, pulsing with deep grooves and jazzy melodies that transport the listener to earthy, fantastical realms.

Our beloved duo @Madota is back on Saisons with their first original EP. A project that embodies a pivotal chapter for them after a long time apart on different sides of the world. After experiencing humanity on pause from different coordinates, Behnam and Mehran finally reunited in Berlin, picked up the energy where they left off and dove straight into the studio with a new approach to their creative process.

In the light of everything happening in their motherland of Iran, they feel more called than ever to celebrate their heritage. In this 2-track EP, you can feel Madota’s roots. It’s a voyage into their past that taps into the energies and the stories of where they come from…and it only feels like the beginning.

'Roobah' is playful with colorful roots. The duo created this track from blending piano pieces of Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou - an Ethiopian nun who they grew up to love, mixed with Ahmad Shamloo’s audio recreation of "The Little Prince". The audio tapes and CDs of Shamloo’s work became illegal after the Islamic Revolution.

The result of this sonic painting is a celebration of both stories in a deep and jazzy groove with warm soulful harmonies. Dusty and playful. An ode to life and freedom.

'Del' is the darker and deeper track of the pair. The groove is rooted in a dense and weighed down rhythm coupled with shreds of dusty pianos. Behnam’s voice guides the story, singing 'Del' which means ‘Heart’ in farsi. The lyrics come from an old persian poem that goes something like:

O heart, if you love
Seek comfort
In the heart of day and night

The track embodies Madota’s overflow of emotions that come up in reviving their relationship with their roots while also honoring the courage of their people in their fight for freedom.

A part of the proceeds from this release will go to support families in Iran.
