(Beams of sunlight laid on the opposite side of the street. Humid air foretold an upcoming rainfall, while the thick clouds sneaked behind the slits of buildings. Through the thinnest parts of the clouds, the morning sun struggled to deliver the last bit of glow onto this city. A city of fatigue. A city plagued with numbness. 
The queue of patients seemed not to have moved.
In a mere minute, the city grew darker. The rain had yet to fall.)

06. Dream, Pt.1: Mindscape
("When did this ear disease even start?" 
He searched for his earliest memories, but in vain. The city's gloomy weather, the reflections on curtain walls and the grey corridors in the hospital had besieged his remembrance, convincing him that those are everything in his world.
While the blurry trails of the drug spread out in his head, he cut loose of his reliance on his body. Strangely, it was after he stopped grasping for those senses that he rejoined the awareness of his own consciousness.
Presently, the lively visions of the dreams unroll before him like successive cinema scenes.)

Do you remember
The stream we used to trek
When the heats of summer
Still clung to our backs
In those times
When our shoes were oversized
We leaped nonetheless
Before the afternoon dies
We bounced over stones before knowing the flow
We grew more cautious once we grew old
We dwelled in the basin
Of this never ending creek
Old leaves bypassed us

06 Dream, Pt.1: Mindscape

04. Interpretation

(He saw the old man standing alone in the openness by the end of the stairway. He couldn't see the old man's face but somehow found his silhouette familiar. The arch of the tangerine sky was permeated with the dark brown beams of dusk. Winds arrived along with the warmth, slipped through their hairs and rendered the old man's beard and his trench coat swinging gently.
Unlike the first time they met at the entrance of the hospital, the ambivalent countenance has vanished from the old man. So did the flare of insanity. The old man now stared at his with fixation of clearness, making him thought the old man was merely appreciating the scenery behind him. For another instant, he thought the old man was gazing at his innermost consciousness, stripped of any disguise. 
In this bizarre standstill, the sounds arose. )

Turn around while you’re young
Before you can’t even tell what you’ve become
Stuck in the desolation of life
Something’s missing
Nothing’s easy
It feels like you’ve lost your key
You just don’t know where to be and how to break free
Oh, perhaps in your dream
Your dream…
Now even dream seems to be…

Have you ever wondered why you’re here?
Have you ever wondered why you ought to stay?
Do you ever ever regret?

Do you know enough about your life?
Do you have a reason? Trying to stay alive?
Can you ever ever answer why? Why?

“Next,”
They’ve always been silent.

“Next,”
Or perhaps they cried out before,
“Next,”
But I didn’t hear them. There’s only me:
“Next.”
I tried to recollect what the announcements sounded like, but only to find those voices mingled with my own. After all, in most days, I simply followed the horde. 
“Next,”
I imagined my voice being decisive and crisp. But it was dry and lifeless, as if there were a knife pointing at my throat.
I turned my head, cleared my throat, shrugged.

“Next.”
I think their silence made me.

05. 1964 (Demo)

The world has never been short of turmoil. This concept album was born in the attemp to capture the intangible turbulence, and to convey certain beliefs.

Through the passing of time, however, the original ideas had gradually grown into various shapes. So did the reflections of those matters within one's mindscape. 
As the floods of information proliferate, meanings and interpretations collide, compress and crashed onto one another. Still, in this implosive process, few core pillars had not moved. 
It all started with self-consciousness. The answers to questions may collapse, but one can still apprehend one's existence through questioning.
