'Meliora' is Latin for 'the pursuit of better things'. Established producer Mindseye has crafted a blend of chill electronica, chillstep, and IDM, inspired by the beauty of childhood. The primarily instrumental track was built around a melancholic piano melody, with drums that are reminiscent of Jamie XX's album 'In Colour'. The song also includes a sample of singing school children, recorded by Mindseye during his travels through Africa. 'Meliora' is the ideal soundtrack for late summer days.

Mindseye draws inspiration from the great outdoors and from the many vibrant cultures he has encountered during his countless travels. He is especially passionate about everything coast and ocean-related, emphasized by his academic background as an oceanographer.
