Venezuelan talent Santiago Bejarno returns to Unnamed & Unknown with a killer two-track EP - Rumba.

Following releases on Playgroove, Dirtyclub, Distance, Ride Music and many more, Madrid based artist Santiago Bejarno is back on unnamed & Unknown for his solo label debut with an impressive duo of tracks for his ‘Rumba’ EP.

‘Rumba’ kicks off the release with a flurry of rolling drums and percussive movement. Punchy kicks and hissing hat grooves pave the way for pulsating sub-bass and quirky vox chops whilst offbeat fills and subtly rising melodies bubble up through the track as it ebbs and flows from beginning to end. 

‘Eight Ball’ follows with more terrace-ready energy from the outset. A weighty combo of hard-hitting drums and blistering percussive flair drives the track forward amongst a sea of synth shots, roaring bass notes and swirling vocal layers as you travel through a series of peaks and troughs from beginning to end.

All of this has gained him the reputation of one of the scene's most on-point party starters. Always one to go with the moment rather than to meticulously plan out sets, what starts off as a casual lunchtime spin to 15 people can easily finish nine hours later to a crowd at least ten times bigger. Misha is helping start a movement and proving himself to be one of Serbia's finest exports to the DC underground scene.

The time has come for Moon Harbour's driving force to make a welcome return to his own label with the red hot new track 'Fender Bender.' In June 2024, when we first listened to Alex Barbu’s tracks, we were immediately struck by their precision and sincerity. A bold minimalism, straight to the point, yet infused with intricate sound design and immersive atmospheres inspired by mountains and Mediterranean ambiances. Adolescence EP encapsulates that fleeting moment between innocence and self-awareness, between the effortless and loud grace of youth and the quiet nostalgia in the coldness of adulthood. As simple as the strong emotions of adolescence. As intricate as the places they transport you to.

To the three original tracks by Alex Barbu, we added two remixes that open new emotional dimensions. First, a never-stop-evolving rework by the Monolith, who fully JimmyBattified "Living Without Ego." Then comes Blinkduus Dischetto, closing the record with his signature raw sensuality, a tactile and almost cinematic reinterpretation that lingers long after the needle lifts.
