Fer BR is in charge of the 45th release of Mindshake Records, delivering a driving EP entitled “Oscilator”.

Fer BR is one of the most active artists in the Mindshake family, constantly producing and participating in the label’s shows and tours; Fer BR has also been recognised for his metrical punchy cuts. On this occasion, the DJ and producer keeps exploring his own concepts of rhythmics and acoustics, creating four massive tracks packed onto “Oscilator” EP that describe very well the unlimited world of electronic harmonies. 

“Oscilator” kicks off by walking through deep bass until a basic set of kicks emerge to the surface to guide the song. Dry snares, echoey vocals and frenetic rolling frequencies swing to complete the work with a three-dimensional feel to the track.

“It’s In Your Brain” sets out from a strong basic and solid foundation, propelling the track from its first beginning by melting a bouncy low bass with shiny drums. Jumpy frequencies sneak through a thick suggestive male voice, empowering the title of the piece. The composition gets stronger when strident hi-fi bleeps pop perfectly to build the tension.

“Prohibited sighs” is a firm reverb tune of warm hums, exhaling abstract pitches and hi synths melting with seductive moanings. This third track maintains its energy until the end by framing a surrounding ambient. Closing the release is “Hey!!”, a danceable percussion piece with continuous banging, taking its only breath when it reaches the breakdown.  

Fer BR shapes an elastic sound landscape on “Oscilator”, yet one with firm traction and floating frequencies that can be assembled in any techno session.
