Paco Osuna’s Mindshake Records kicks off 2022 with a new Tech House EP from DJ Boris that also features a remix from the shared alias Project00 of Paco Osuna and Fer BR the label’s A&R.

For over two decades in the scene now, the US-based Russian-born producer DJ Boris has a very rich catalog of music with releases on the likes of Mark Knight’s Toolroom, Terminal M, Suara, his label Transmit Recordings, Codex Recordings, Tronic, Intec just to name few. His skills behind the decks made him a New York DJ star but with the music he makes, he travelled the world playing at the Shores of Playa Del Carmen to The Magical Ibiza.

Project00 has so far been remixing the finest tracks on Mindshake records, but as solo artists Paco Osuna and Fer BR have released on influential labels ranging from Richie Hawtins Minus to Claude VonStroke's DIRTYBIRD and Adam Beyer's Truesoul.

Body Burning EP is a true presentation of DJ Boris's groovy percussions, rolling tech-house foundation is placed within a darker, danceable tension with a pounding kick and bass. A fine touch version from Project00 of Body Burning that gives the release a whole new dimension.

The man from Mindshake, Fer BR, blesses us with a slamming two-track EP that will most certainly burn down your dance floors. He kicks off his ''Against The Rules EP'' with the same-titled track that is perfectly made with big stabbing keys that take it over the top. Side B features 'TechChord' a heavy bottom track that just thumps with a heavy base and energy meant for that big room. A must have in your playlist.

Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake drops a new EP from Italian techno artist The Southern, who is well-known for having a dark and driving style with explosive energy and industrial textures.

This particular release opens with a groovy house track titled “Loop Like This”, then the following two tracks return to his usual hard-hitting techno style.

The Southern is making his debut on Mindshake following many top-selling releases on other record labels such as Truncate, Suara, Tronic, KD RAW and Odd Recordings.

“Loop Like This” opens the release with its funk-fuelled bassline, chunky percussion and hip hop inspired vocal sample, before the bleeping melody and fast-paced percussion of “I Get Deep” leads things down a techno path. “Ain” closes the release with its pounding kick drum and hypnotic groove that fuses acid synths with thrashing percussion.

Paco Osuna welcomes back Markantonio on his Mindshake Records for a brand new three tracks EP called “Disconation” following up his 2021 debut with "Big Up".

Markantonio is one of Italy's techno artists and one of those who helped launch the country's nightclub scene in the '90s. His career spanned 20 years as he toured the world as a star DJ representing Naples’ Techno sound and releasing successful & massive tracks on labels ranging from Second State, Drumcode, Set About, Odd Recordings, Intec and his label AnalyticTrail.

Markantonio brings another dimension to his creativity with a house / tech house release as “Disconation” opens the EP with a groovy percussion, splashing vocals and riff chord melody which brings back the old disco sound. The old school vibe continues with the second track Music Is My Weapon which is defined the melodic shots, reverbed vocals in the background and dancing rhythms. Closing the EP is Jackin Day with a dark mood and pounding beats as Markantonio injects some more rounded, rubbery tones into it.
