This deep and profound project is an impassioned rendition, similar, perhaps, to the melancholy beauty of a cosmonaut lying in the colorful fields of a faraway world. It is simply unearthly, a warm and fuzzy production that looks towards the Distant Horizons of ancient frequencies in the form of progressive psybient and downtempo electronica. Liberation is a fusion of psychedelic downtempo hips and hops whereby its soundscape provides a source of freedom for the mind to become still while driving rhythms, melodies and bass guide us along this frequency meditation into the realm of cosmic bliss.

Inspired by spiritual and philosophical teachings from around the world but especially yogically, Liberation was a feeling that had arisen from the desire to fuse multiple interests over the course of a track. Having ventured first into the realm of psychedelics years back and then through many other avenues, it only made sense to organically find a way back to the source. Initially, the project began as an experiment to see if this alchemy was possible. Finally, having found this sense of 'release' from having to produce one kind of sound and box it so to speak, 4 tracks were honed and cultivated in order to allow its natural unfolding into the material world.

Vasilis Kesalidis (aka Spinnet) and Ioannis Konstantios formed One Arc Degree back in 2011. The project is based on work-time asymmetry, between Athens and Thessaloniki, thanks to cloud based technologies and modern social media. Frequent visitor in their works, the ethereal soprano voice of Georgia Irakli. Either as a spectre behind the curtains or as a dramatic central presence, her voice never fails to heighten the senses. One Arc Degree discography displays an impressive variety of styles over many labels, including Ultimae Records, Blue Tunes Chillout, Iboga, Deep Garnet, Morphosis and Ektoplazm among others.

Fueled by nature and equipped with a field recorder, He set out on his journey; recording every sound, Paying close attention to his surroundings while capturing the essence of the here and now.
