Blooming in an organic prelude, we flow into gentle rhythms, coming downwards for a listening attitude, laying down on boundless pads. A selection of tracks to climb and descend a musical mountain. A downtempo journey in various episodes.

Shantiago is the electronic music project of the Spanish-born Santiago Nieto. As a Dj artist, he has been exploring since the 1990s an ample range of rhythms and melodies, from strict vertical patterns for the dance floor to horizontal delights inducing calming states. All inspired by the sound of the universe and the love of music. A believer in the harmonic connections between humans, and an activist of sound as a therapy, he carries a pouch with music suitable for the world.

Be Part Of Your Own Machine

After five years in the desert, Geoglyph returns with a new solo album Otherworldly. Recorded on analogue synths, bass guitar, flute, and melodica, and with guest appearances from guitarists Jason Bond and Toby Snowden, this is a warm, proggy album with a handmade feel. Continuing on the path set by Geolinguistic and Messages from the Resonator, each track tells a story with contrasting sections. COME AND HEAR: inscrutable ceremonies in twilit caverns; ancient glyphs carved on stony mesas; impossible structures which defy space and time.

Desert Sky

Based in Central Queensland this last weekend (April 2019), Treepsyde  was an intimate gathering of beautiful souls with a vision of regenerating native bushland damaged by the colonisation of Australia. Plantings during the day were supplemented with music to soothe calloused hands afterward.

While Ant and I were preparing this set, there were frequent tropical downpours. One of the plucky volunteers, Josie Howie was amazing as she literally used her body to protect our laptops and gear from the rain - thank you!

Thank-you also to the Treepsyde Crew for looking after us so well. It was a very enjoyable experience.
