We had to leave. ist eine elektronisch angehauchte Indie-Rock Band aus Bremen. Das Trio bedient sich neben der klassischen Besetzung Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug weiterhin noch elektronischer Elemente wie Synthies und Samples.

Beweisen konnten die jungen Musiker ihr Potential bereits auf Konzerten, in Clubs und auf Open Air Bühnen in Städten wie Bremen, Hamburg, Kiel, Münster und Charleroi (Belgien). 2014 wurde der Radius stetig erweitert. Die Band spielte Konzerte in Berlin, Leipzig und München, sowie internationale Shows (Brüssel, Rotterdam, Lille und Aix-en Provence).

Dabei entstand eine wohl durchdachte Mischung aus träumerischen Pop-Elementen, verspielten Melodien und Rhythmen, sowie dynamischen Drums. Das Songwriting zeichnet sich durch eine gewisse Feinfühligkeit aus, Struktur und Verspieltheit harmonisch miteinander zu vereinen. Das Zusammenspiel dieser Elemente macht den Sound der Band einzigartig und gleichzeitig eingängig.


NYG (Nygel Asselin) is a Vancouver based producer, engineer & songwriter  who originally hails from Ontario's cottage country. It is there where he first started his musical journey roughly 20 years ago picking up a guitar for the first time. Since playing in his first band to making his mark as a Certified Canadian Gold Record producer he has always stayed true to his love of music and it's ability to evoke a wide array of emotions. 

As the voice of the award-winning alternative pop duo FOXOS, Ryk began their musical career in Hamburg, Germany more than a decade ago. The Hanover native moved to Stockholm to study composition - the city became their new home. Projects with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Cirque du Soleil and the Olympic Games in Tokyo manifest their name in the international theater and circus scene. But the love for pop remains.

Fans and critics had to wait patiently for a whole ten years. Now Ryk returns even more impressively with a new repertoire and demonstrates the full range of their unique sound world. Organic electronics meet anthemic hooks, elements of serious music meet experimental synth collages - and their unique voice floats above it all.

MIND TRAP ist schwer einzufangen. Diese Band bricht Konventionen, spielt mit Erwartungen, erfindet sich standig neu. Meilenstein und Beweis dafür ist ihr Debüt Album Chaijerland: 

Die Energie zerlegt die Musik - ihre Ambitionen holt sie wieder ein. Da ist kaum mehr, was zwischen die drei langjährigen Freunde Augustin, Ali und Martin passt, außer pure Hingabe für das, was sie tun. Der Zuhörer wird mitgerissen - mal ganz sanft, dann lässig und brutal. Man steckt in der Falle und fühlt sich auch noch wohl. Da will man MIND TRAP gar nicht mehr einfangen, sondern ihnen immer wieder erliegen.
