MindTrip is thrilled to present the latest EP from the French collective Möd3rn, Cyclone Error. Mod3rn is the powerful alliance of Electric Rescue, Kmyle, and Moteka—renowned figures in the French techno scene with a shared passion for pushing sonic boundaries. This trio merges their expertise into a single, dynamic entity, crafting an aesthetic rooted in improvisation and the raw energy of techno. Subtle keys, cosmic drones, subterranean rumbles, and rhythmical bursts intertwine seamlessly, producing a sound that is as diverse as it is forward-thinking. Kmyle, a familiar face to the MindTrip family, left an indelible mark with his recent contribution to our Mutable Minds compilation. Now, as part of Mod3rn, he joins forces with Electric Rescue and Moteka to deliver a release that embodies their vision of contemporary and ecstatic techno. With Cyclone Error EP, Mod3rn invites us to immerse ourselves in a maelstrom of sound, celebrating both the dynamism of the genre and their unyielding drive to innovate.

Viels and Francesco Della Sata co-own the Berlin-based techno label End of Perception, which has released music by a variety of artists, including Takaaki Itoh, Ness, Brendon Moeller, Deepbass, and ORBE.

Viels, a seasoned DJ and producer from Milan, has performed with DVS1, DJ Nobu, Setaoc Mass, Steve Bicknell, and many others throughout Europe. He also maintains a residency at the Acquario event. In addition to his appearances on End of Perception, his exceptional production approach has been included on imprints like Bas Mooy's Mord, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, Psyk's Non Series, Svreca's Semantica, and Edit Select Records. He has also collaborated on releases with fellow Italian Pyramidal Decode.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Primo Respiro" that has an ethereal sound full of ambiance and hypnotics. The taut percussion and disjointed kick drum in this heads-down groove are accompanied with cyclical pulses.

MindTrip music, Founded by Pfirter 2006. 
Reinvented and relaunched in 2012 under the new name MindTrip.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
