Marco Bailey strikes back on MB Elektronics with an absolutely massive release. &#8216;The Black Widow&#8217; is a pure class from start to finish. Every detail is lovingly crafted from techno kicks to a devastating bassline that enter exactly the right moment. This production it feels like you could dance to it forever. Next on is an edit mix. This production is a bouncy techno number, driven by a chicaning bassline and some irresistible effects. Brutal and brilliant, the whole release is simply an essential addition to your box. MindTrip is pleased to introduce Part 2 of its new various artists series ‘From The Lab to The Club’. For this EP, 4 artists – both established and emerging - were selected to contribute music which embodies the spirit of the series. 
This release opens in the strongest possible way, with 2 of techno’s heaviest hitters, Chris Liebing and Pfirter joining forces to produce the driving, heavy and hypnotic ‘420’. Notably, this track signals a welcome return to production for Chris Liebing and shows his ability to create strong, dancefloor techno has 
not diminished. Next up is the highly talented Japanese producer Yuuki Sakai (Subsist, Warm Up Records) with ‘Ballat’, a relentless, percussive track enhanced by subtle, textured elements. 
There is no letup on the B side, which opens with the mysterious Obscure Shape’s ‘Back in Black’. This track promises to yield an intense and building atmosphere, which almost – but not quite – threatens to kill all those who dare to defy its menacing sounds. This strong release is completed with a contribution from UK producer Dax J entitled ‘Revelations’. Make no mistake, this is an intense, compelling track, which builds with a strength which is not for the faint hearted.

The new release from Clash Music is a fresh collaboration between Dodx and Marcus Oliveira. Both DJ’s are booming in the Brazilian local scene as residents of the Clash Club and they brought the essence of the techno parties they play at to the track Get Down.

Scheduled for January 13th, the single also features two remixes from the french prodigy Matt Sassari and from the man responsible for the techno scene in Colombia, Minor Dott.

Uplifting tracks with fat basses and involving grooves, Get Down is an instant invitation to the dance floor with three explosive versions that represent the new techno sound.

Beyer's new track "You're the Same" is six-and-a-half minutes of moody tones set to a slightly laid-back aesthetic. "I wanted to create a deep heavy ‘after hour-ish’ kind of tune but still with the Beyer weight to it," says Beyer. "Something I would play in the beginning of a night or when playing more deep...It's got a big fat vocoder in it which absolutely love; there should be more vocoders in dance music!"

One of the most promising newcomers around and known from releases on Bedrock and Aeon, italian born Francys presents his first EP for OFF. 

Now based in Berlin, and already hauling an impressive back catalogue, Francys delivers five tracks filled with dancefloor goodness. 

Opening up with “Elsewhere”, a catchy melodic deep techno cut, the track creates a tense yet sustainable build up by the way of ambient-ridden synths. 

Title track “Komorebi” exerts a similar feeling, craftly layering grave synths peppered with high pitched acid-like bits. 

Fellow Berliner and BLKRTZ label boss Deadbeat is the muscle behind the remix, bringing his well known penchant for timeless techno to the game. The reputed sound designer manages to inject more groove, turning “Komorebi” into a peak time contender. 

“Pandora's Scream” rounds up the release, exposing a metallic ridden bassline, interspersed with eerie high pitched sounds. 

Last up is “The Monk”, a dark and somber sonic exploration infused with mysterious, chant-resembling vocal pieces that give the track a ghoulish atmosphere.

"Bring It Back" continues the trek in a slightly more optimistic fashion, yet the Industrialyzer's sensibilities are lurking over this one from the dark skies above.

SA015 is a split vinyl taken care of by long term label artist, Pfirter, and by a new voice that's been adding to the SA story across the summer, Kangding Ray. Pfirter's 'Caos y Orden Superior' is a weighty odyssey spread across nine minutes. Its opening is languid but somehow relentless as strange synthesised sounds are interrupted by insistent beats. Across the arc of this track 'chaos' and 'order' lose their static definitions, and played over a large club rig this has the potential to throughly disorientate. From here Kangding Ray takes over duties with 'Wars', a fragmented meditation on the darkest side of human nature. Created from hues saturated by the pain of mistakes and regrets, it pulses, rocking gently, swooning in and out. This stunning slice of electronic music acts as a balm for the very wounds that conflict leaves behind.

SA015 was craftily mastered by Artefacts Mastering, Berlin.

Cubix makes his debut statement on Kombination Research with a solid techno EP. Starting this EP is &#8216;Rasp&#8217; which is a very an aggressive techno track. Heavy beat mixed up perfectly with a dark percussion on the foreground. &#8216;Kinetix&#8217; is a stilted techno track, with a dark beat and skulking bass that makes this one a techno killer. A magical EP from Cubix, which he knows the definition of techno and exposes two techno anthems on Kombination Research.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
