CommonSense is a label from Mexico that has welcomed artists such as Peter Van Hoesen, Ricardo Garduno, Juan Sanchez, DJ Nobu and Eduardo De La Calle.

The latest ten-track VA titled CommonSense Vol. 5 features a fantastic collection of artists including Truncate, Denise Rabe, Fixeer and PWCCA.

Truncate‘s raw and punchy production caught our ear. The Los Angeles-based conductor is known for releasing on 50 Weapons, Luke Slater’s Mote-Evolver, Len Faki’s Figure, as well as his Truncate label project.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Untitled Tool” that takes on a slightly different approach to usual grooves. Using twisting modular tones as the main riffs, his always on point and particular percussion is hit varying effects that add to the fun of this jackin’ and freaky cut.

Overall, "Oddbox" by A.Morgan is a masterfully crafted techno album that showcases the artist's ability to push the boundaries of the genre. 

The first track, "DX3" immediately sets the tone for the album with its hypnotic bassline and intricate percussive elements. The relentless energy of this track propels the listener into a state of euphoria, as layers of futuristic synths intertwine to create a mesmerizing atmosphere.

Moving on to the second track, "Be Mine" A.Morgan explores a more experimental side of techno music. The unconventional rhythms and glitchy textures create an otherworldly ambiance, evoking a sense of traversing through a digital dimension. The pulsating basslines and intricate sound design combine to form a unique sonic tapestry that challenges the boundaries of traditional techno.

The third track, "Decision" introduces a more melodic aspect to the album. A.Morgan skillfully blends haunting melodies with driving beats, resulting in a captivating and emotive piece of music. Casual Treatment - Colliding Forces (Oliver Rosemann Remix) [MT60]

Born and raised in Italy since ‘98, Pyramidal Decode is the pseudonym of a Techno polyhedral producer.
His music has been defined as relentless and precise, characterized by intense percussion and analogue sparks, it also has dub influences but it ends up as a twisted, dark and hypnotic voyage.
2020 and 2021 have been years of major evolution in Pyramidal Decode’s production, he released on Edit Select, Modularz, Dynamic Reflection, B55, Hard Tools rec, and more…
2022 has been the best year of his production yet, starting off with a 10 track album named ‘Cosmic Paradox’ on Jeff Mill’s Axis Recordings, published at the end of February. He also confirmed his presence on Dynamic Reflection by Abstract Division, releasing his second solo EP "Dysfunctional System”. While his name was spreading in European clubs, his tracks were released on Faut Section, followed by the track ‘Ghera’, his first vinyl on End Of Perception.
At the end of November ‘Logical Inference’ had been released in Oscar Mulero’s Warm Up, a solo EP composed of 7 tracks that closed his 10th year of production.

Unconscious Bias LP will be out on September 4th.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
