MindTrip brings the first studio collaboration between Portuguese uprising talent Nørbak and Argentinian head honcho Pfirter. Artur Moreira aka Nørbak introduced himself to our MindTrip world with a contribution to the Mutable Minds series, which led to his debut EP 'Praying to Silence' in April 2020. Since then, he has rapidly evolved into an established producer with his own signature sound. After Pfirter's remix work on Artur's label Hayes, the two exchanged a few 'live takes' that led to four finished tracks that complete their first joint work: 'Life, Truth, Freedom, Fear'. This release is the final outcome of two artists coming from different generations, yet sharing the same view of the raw and forward thinking sound of Techno. Tonight, we welcome Julia Govor to HEX Transmission. Born in Russia but New York-based, Julia started as singer in a military band back at home and ended up Djing along with Jeff Mills in New York. Her artist name comes from her Belarusian family origins, maintaining her real name for the public. During Julia’s sets she fluctuates between multiple styles, keeping it eclectic and unexpected in every transition she makes.

Her productions lean towards the groovy side of Techno, while keeping it detail-loaded and hypnotic. She runs her own multidisciplinary music label Jujuka, launched last year, and where each release comes out with a humorous comic about the electronic music scene. Among her latest projects, you can find her last collaboration record with Jeroen Search on Pushmaster Discs.

In this time of Social Media futileness, true music is a rare species, promotional wise. But here we still trust the power of music and the amounts of hours spent in the studio. This is the case with this MasCon project, where he twists and mangle his tools extensively to produce pieces of timeless advanced dance music, and we are really happy to premiere it.

In this latest EP on Konsequent Records, combining his production prowess for four original tracks that deliver a combination of DJ techno tools and straight-to-the-floor goodness.

Sweden's Grindvik and Argentina's Juan Pablo Pfirter found each other throughout their common love for electronic music and constant strive to evolve artistically.
Since Pfirter's first vinyl release on Grindvik's Stockholm LTD label in 2008 the two have kept a tight working relationship and shared countless of hours playing back to back DJ sets in some of the world's most famous clubs.
Pfirter and Grindvik's highly regarded 'El Fortin EP' was released on Leyla Records at the beginning of 2020 and now it's time for its long-awaited sequel, this time on Pfirter's own MindTrip label. 'Dopamin' is not just a full fledged techno four tracker, It's a search for a sound in common, a connection and a breeze of timeless joy.

Reinvented and relaunched in 2012 under the new name MindTrip.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
