For the next episode of SALON we’ve invited Greek DJ and producer VÅGH. The last couple of years he has been focused on shaping his disctinctive sound while keeping a genuine artistic approach. This hard work paid off as he managed to put out music on labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Casanova Bar Berlin and Suara.

For his podcast for SALON he decided to start off with an atmospheric and minimalistic approach focused on welcoming the listener and guiding their mindset into the right direction. Once the direction is set the rhythm intensifies and the listener is drawn deep into mind bending sounds. Combining this with a stomping low end one can be certain of unleashing that inner fire.

Born in '98, behind the decks since 2016. Member of SLAP crew from 2020. Vi presented her selections in many important clubs and festivals in Poland and also at HÖR, Berlin. She had the honour of playing alongside such artists as Ellen Allien, Bjarki, Kittin, Subjected, Retina.It. Based on constant openness and searching in music for what most affects emotions and loss, Vi treats electronic music as the best therapy. In selection she looks for stimuli that they transform from spatial ballads into a fast, galloping groove.

MindTrip Podcats episode 27 welcomes one of Serbia's finest Techno exports Filip Xavi. He is one of the authentic representatives of Belgrade's Techno scene the last decade. He's been a rebel against any genre/trend confinements since the day he got involved into techno music and he was mostly attracted by dark and abstract music structures. Dasha Rush remixed his debut vinyl EP on Sonntag Morgen in 2015 and his music has been published on various labels like Dynamic Reflection, Subsist, Decoder Recordings and his very own imprint Teskoba Recordings. The past few years he's been resident at the Drugstore club in Serbia and he has hosted names like Rodhad, DVS1, Dasha Rush, Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, Blawan and more. Until today he continues to pursue his mission of taking the audience into the uncharted territory of sound and space, an approach that fills the dancefloor with mystique and suspense on a path to catharsis. Pär Grindvik has been a central figure in the Swedish electronic scene since the 90s as record store owner, label manager and producer. In his artistic career Pär has released music across a plethora of acclaimed electronic labels, including a string of hits on his own Stockholm LTD imprint as well as Drumcode, with frequent collaborator Hardcell. Pär’s recent output has seen him contribute music to labels such as Semantica, Marbacka, Sinister and Dystopian.

Founded in 2002, Stockholm LTD began as an outlet for singles and EPs from Swedish artists with a focus on releasing timeless electronic music. It has since developed into a hallmark for finely crafted electronic music from a range of international artists.

Over the past two decades Pär’s involvement with the electronic music community has branched out across the globe. Openly passionate about supporting underground talent, Pär works closely with an ever-expanding repertoire of labels and artists.

As a DJ Pär tours the world, transporting his deft and uniquely dynamic DJ sets to techno fans internationally and on a weekly basis. His worldwide popularity as a performer stems not only from his skill and versatility but also as a result of the energy he puts into every performance. It's this combination that enables him to bring the heat to the best clubs in the world.

Pär continues to serve as one of the most exciting and hardworking contributors to the scene. Every inch of Pär’s work, including labels, artwork, release info and music, is wrapped with heart and emotion, a quality which keeps the sparkle and curiosity alive within the ever changing adaptations of the artistic world.

Reinvented and relaunched in 2012 under the new name MindTrip.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
