Following a stint in London where she cultivated her skill through residencies within the local scene, she returned to Beirut and joined the Frequent Defect team with whom she shares a similar drive to address socio-political issues through multi-disciplinary art forms.

As she put it - "The new French techno scene is my greatest musical inspiration. Dje and DJs closest to my heart are Maharti (Belgium), Jaess (France), Calavel (France), Matrakk (France), Lemane (France)."

In addition to music, Daria is a restaurant manager, interested in psychology and "magic" spheres of life.

At the beginning of 2021, they launched their POTOP label, whose main goal is the development of the local backyard. They are associated with Katowice clubs CEL and P23.

Born in eastern Poland, rraph treads the dark, deep soundscapes of techno. Since his debut release in 2013 on Translucent, he has count many others on the likes of Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Counter Pulse, Subraum and of course his base, Gynoid Audio. Associated with the project since its launch, rraph contributes as an A&R and also immensely as an artist signing acclaimed work such as the Eseries EP which includes a Kwartz Remix or the Syndykat EP. He has also been quite prolific in providing remixes as well as tracks for various compilations. During the past years rraph has performed bothlive and as a DJ in renowned clubs around Europe such as Tresor, IPSE and Arena in Berlin, Corsica Studios in London, Le Batofar in Paris, Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg and more. Since 2015 rraph has been a member of Warsaw-based Behind the Stage collective and together with Aetha is also a co-creator of VULTUR, an event series taking place in Poland.

DJ, producer, promoter and co-founder of Pure.Sounds Collective with years of experience in event promotion both techno and drum’n’bass with long list of invited artists. After some break, he returned to DJing and techno production, i.e. the genre from which he began his musical adventure. In the meantime he began collecting gear to return to performing Live – but this time only with dawless setup. The premiere of his new material took place on October 5, 2018. So far, he had the opportunity to play it in few finest polish clubs; Cialo – Wroclaw, Szpitalna 1 and Warsztat – Cracow.

 He played in Czwórka Polish Radio 12”/ h series hosted by DJ Bert and also The Blue Oyster. He has also recorded several podcasts, incl. for: DSTM, Behind The Stage, Strikt, Breslau Techno, Polish Techno.logy or T52.FM both as live P.A. and DJ set.  

His tracks have been released so far on such respected labels as; DSTM, Dolma, Refined Format, Black Square Recordings, Bunk3r R3cords, Breslau Techno as well as his own RTL imprint with appearance on Beatport playlists: Best New Hard Techno, Closing Essentials, Staff Picks and in TOP100. His latest EP containing 5 tracks has been recently released by the Italian label DSTM, thus joining the DSTM family containing artists like: Aahan, Lars Huismann, Casual Treatment, Don Woezik, Rave Syndicate, V111 or VTSS. Tracks like Solid State, Blackmail and Dystopia met with very good feedback and support from several well-known names of the techno scene like: Charlotte De Witte or Fernanda Martins.

  Soon, thanks to him and his friends from the collective, the first Pure Sounds vinyl will be released on the occasion of the 15th anniversary with a track that he co-wrote.

RETHE - an artist from Wrocław who recently joined the ranks of Transformator's residents.

Since 2016, Rethe has been active on the Polish electronic music scene not only as a DJ, but also as a live performer. You could hear Piotr in places such as: Praga Centrum, Schron, Cel in Poland or Berlin's Anomalie, where he shared decks with British Rene Wise, Pfirter, Norbak or Conceptual.

He is now 100% dedicated to his musical career and further development, both in terms of production and live performances. After hours, he organizes individual classes and workshops on Ableton operation, music production and DJing. His sets consist mainly of his own productions, in which subtle and mesmerizing motifs are carried by a wild, almost tribal groove. He is also not afraid of experimenting with other electronic genres, often surprising listeners with breakbeat electro, British dubstep, and even DnB or jungle.

Piotr Figiel - music producer, live act performer and dj from Krakow, Poland. Formely known for DCM and Peter Feegle projects, since 2014 Piotr performs under his own name, focusing his work mostly on techno, IDM and playing hardware based live acts. His music has always been an eclectic mixture of different influences, original sound design and great sound. Piotr’s work has been released on many Polish and international labels and among many dj and live act club gigs, Piotr also performed at Street Art Festival, Ars Cameralis Festival, Tauron Nowa Muzyka festival and in 2017 Piotr was honoured to play on the legendary Instytut festival in Warsaw. Piotr has been hosting the „Essentia Electronica” radio show at Off Radio Krakow station in 2015-2012. The show became one of the most important promotion hubs for the local electronic music scene, artists, collectives and clubs in Krakow. In 2021 Piotr started a new venture, record label Rwetes. Apart from the solo music activity, Piotr teams up with Dominik Gawroński, creating Krakowitz - nostalgic, synthesizer-based, melodic music project. Piotr also works as a producer, mixing and mastering engineer, helping many artists to achieve the dreamed sound of their records.

Macewicz is a unique figure who builds the stage with electronic music in Poland. During the day, he builds the church organ, and after dark, he becomes one of the heads of the SLAP collective. As a DJ active for over 15 years, one of the residents of the Wrocław club Ciało. Michał is one of those people who can organize an event, perfectly sound equipment, it, but most of all play an insane set on it. A professional in every way, for whom only one thing counts - sound perfection. It is impossible to list all the activities in which he actively participates - DJ, producer, sound engineer, promoter - these are only some of them.

Brought up on the Love Parade raves and the old Tresor, he tries not to forget about the energy of those years in his sets. It presents a strong and hypnotic variety of techno. His sets, which he loves to drag as often as possible, are spacious and full of experiments, often going beyond the classic 4/4.

A representative of the Cracow collective Deep Impact Krakow for the past seven years, she has been inviting artists from various corners of the city, who are associated with the Polish electronic music scene and the world stage of dub-techno and deep-techno music. In my opinion, Aneta is one of the few DJs / promoters who has so many talents. She runs a "B-sides" program at OFF Radio Krakow and has already recorded a large number of recruited artists, is an ambitious and appreciated Dj, and as previously mentioned, belongs to the Deep Impact Krakow collective.

As it often happens with music enthusiasts, they start their adventure with collecting vinyl records - this was the case with Aneta. Not long after that, the syrene could be heard at the soundsystem sessions, where many sailors were seduced with her sound. Her commitment and persistence in her pursuit of finding the right musical genre, clarified over time and now she oscillates in her sets between ambient, dub-techno, and faster and more deep-techno dance. Considering her selection, she fit in well as the support of such artists as Xhin, Fluxion or Samuel Kerridge.

Sailor, do not be afraid, jump on the boat and let yourself be seduced by this mermaid singing.

In every place where she appears, she puts the listener in a state of vibration that is hard to control. You can steal sea horses with her. With incredible talent and uncompromising attitude. We would like to introduce you to the third of our amazing mermaids, which often smashed me to pieces with her selection, took with a storm darkest corners of my soul, but most importantly, after each performance I had the feeling of unlimited joy. 

Aneta aka aetha represents the southern part of Poland, although her first musical achievements has taken place in her hometown of Lublin, where since 2012 she has been active as a promoter. In retrospect, like everyone else in the industry, she wanted to develop her vibe and achieve something more. From psytrance, as “jot”, she developed more towards the techno scene, as aetha. In Kraków's Szpitalna 1 club she found her place as an event manager, and since 2014 she began to engage local communities in the form of organizing art exhibitions, workshops, unite people at lectures and meetings, where electronic music was always the theme. As of today, our mermaid can boast of, among other things, the booking agency Mandala Bookings, which she started herself, and it’s leitmotif is psytrance. She sailed to Berlin and London. There she showed what it means to wave the fin. Thanks to her skills and vision she had the opportunity to support artists such as Stephanie Sykes, Cleric, Chris Stanford, Remco Beekilder, Introversion, Flaminia, and Mario Berger (Official). Almost every big and smaller city has flown in search of beings living on land to present their vision of mermaid singing. Together with partner in crime rraph they formed the vultur collective, which from my observations is dynamically evolving. Previously they booked the young British blood - Flaminia. Sensual introduction, with a touch of eroticism in the background - this is how I interpret the story of L Ʌ V Σ N aka Marta Nowaczyńska, the pearl of Gdynia, who has just recorded a sea -> maritime story for us.

Her first release was an EP for French Carcères Records published in 2018. It initiated her performances abroad, which later turned out to be a breakthrough in her Polish career. She is currently a resident of "The Meaning of Rave" - a collective active in Poznań and Wrocław. She had the opportunity to play alongside artists, such as KRTM, Trym, DYEN, MSKD or Sluhg, at parties for the "Demain Kollectiv" or "Ismus". Her latest EP for the Turkish C O U P has been appreciated by artists, such as Paula Temple, Rebekah, ArchivOne, Stephanie Sykes, Sophia Saze and Ascorbite.

Bound to techno, Marta has never deviated from her attachment to melody; her productions and sets are characterized by a strong but melodic style. She is inspired by producers, such as Arca or Holly Herndon who draw and seek samples in the infinite depths of the Internet. Her works often confront delicacy and aggression which meet in a digital collage. L Ʌ V Σ N strives to create a multi-dimensional and intense techno based on feelings of nostalgia. Reaching for various samples, her works contain elements of noisy industrial sounds and trance, as well as acid and rave.

For the May edition of the Wake and Rave podcast series, we invited a flesh-and-blood Varsovian, a half man - half party with many musical faces.

Truant is undoubtedly a dynamic figure in the world of electronic music. There is probably no club in Poland where Patryk played, not to mention festivals. From 2014, Truant could be heard most Polish festivals: Audioriver Festival, Opener Festival, LAS Camp, Plotzlich Am Meer (Suddenly at the Sea), LAZZ, Wisłoujście, Come With Us, Summer Contrast as well as winter Snowfest. Currently associated
with the capital clubs: Smolna, 999 or Luzztro - here you can often hear our guest.
For the first time behind turntables he stood in 2004 in the legendary, but unfortunately no longer existing Paragraph 51. Since then he has been oscillating between different genres. His skills allows him to start a set from breaks through tribal old-school techno and industrial sounds ending with jungles or drum and basses - impressive, right?
Over the past 15 years, he has managed to build a solid foundation to call him a human orchestra. Driving to Visiting Great Britain from an his early ages, he drew gain inspiration from local clubs. This resulted in his later Equalized project, in which he invites representatives of the iconic London FOLD club to Warsaw's, or the Transformer in Wroclaw.

How do you determine Patrick current style? Pumping techno with raw industrial and fast hi-hat - this is probably the best description of his hourlong story recorded especially for the development of the Wake and Rave project.

An active fashion photographer by day, rising star of the dark circles of electronic scene by night. Winning great interest of more and more listeners with his great selection, delivered to the public from black records as well as his modesty and authenticity. 

PAWEL - as he is spoken about, is involved in music for a relatively short time and it was the period of time spent abroad that allowed him to find his way to techno while London directed his sound. His sets are strongly influenced by such artists as Blawan, D.Dan, Freddy K and Setaoc Mass, and in his performances he tries to combine different styles into a coherent, eclectic unity. However, as he says, he is most inspired by Berlin DJs and producers, and joining the latter is his private dream and goal. To achieve this, in his free time, he is intensively improving his skills in music production.

Tauceti started her passion for electronic music right after graduating from high school, four years ago. A friend extended a helping hand to her, along with the manager of the bar in Grenoble where she worked. They showed her how to take her first steps. She developed a passion, and we, upon hearing her creative talent.

In the podcast for Wake and Rave, she combines artists such as Blawan, somewhen, border one, temudo, kessel, dyad, uvall, rodhad, and Anthony linelli, which gives her a sense of an uncompromising approach between the artist and the listener. Currently Tauceti is working on his new EP. Unfortunately, we do not know the date of publication or the place of release, but we keep our fingers crossed for its development on the stage.

internal explorer is a music producer / DJ from Warsaw, a vinyl record enthusiast with a great passion for sounds, constantly explores the world of electronic music, oscillating between a variety of techno and ambient trends. Relatively recently, he started his adventure with the club world as a music virtuoso, but despite his short internship, he gained recognition among the audience. Adam had the pleasure to play in: 999, Smolna, or Luzztro and the Wrocław-based Transformator. A graduate of Sae Institute Brisbane in Australia, where he studied sound engineering. Currently belonging to the collective "Industrial Nation" responsible for bringing to the capital quite strong figures in the world of electronic music: Hector Oaks and Regal, which we could see some time ago in the Warsaw 999. He describes his style of playing as eclectic, drawing inspiration from artists such as like Freddy K, Rove Ranger, Kaiser, or Blawan.

DJ, promoter, collector, cultural activist, and occasional radio host from Białystok, Poland who first stepped behind the decks in 2000 at the famed Metro club. The originator and program director of Up To Date Festival, the founder and booker of FOMO club. Co-founder of now-defunct Technosoul collective and record label. Dtekk is also the author of the Pozdro Techno slogan and father of custom built Pozdro Techno Sound System as well as the man behind Salon Ambientu event series.

Over the years Dtekk has received numerous awards for both his activity as a promoter and as a DJ. He represented Białystok, the Podlaskie Voivodship and Poland on numerous occasions, e.g at workdwide EXPO in Milan. What has been most important to him are not awards, but persistent contribution and genuine commitment to the scene.

Dtekk is one of the most consistent and experienced DJs in Poland, at the same time being one of the most versatile ones out there. His sets, played mostly from vinyl, feature mainly a broad spectrum of what’s best in techno and electro music, but he’s also a regular in ambient and experimental world. A special place in his repertoire is held by italo disco. When DJing he aims at striking a balance between an authentic search for the deepest forms of artistic expression and passing on a love of music to the people.

During his career, Jędrzej played at clubs all around Poland. He has also performed at the most renowned Polish festivals like Unsound, Audioriver, Garbicz, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Up To Date, Open’er, as well as outside Poland, for instance in Berlin’s Berghain, Griessmuehle, Ohm and Suicide Circus, Porto’s Gare or in countries such as United Kingdom, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus, and Slovakia.

Born in 1974 in Athens, Hior Chronik, has always been surrounded by music. As a child, he would listen to classical music and jazz on the radio and would write down his favourite tracks in his little notebook. But it was his work as a radio producer at the JazzFm station in Athens and as an editor of several music magazines that really accelerated his development as an artist, and led to him finding his true calling. 

Hior started to experiment with melodies and rhythms and so the first minimalist ambient piano patterns were born, which were later combined with electronica and vocals. “It was a process to discover my hidden charisma” he states. He is part of the roster of 7K! Label, Ki Records and Kitchen Label. He is also the piano player of Christian Lofflerʼs Ensemble.

We are very pleased to host Insolate, with had the pleasure to perform for us on 02/11/19 in the Wrocław at the next edition of syreny.

A veritable powerhouse of the Croatian techno scene Insolate has been establishing a global presence as a DJ and producer for over 20 years delivering as both a label boss at Out of Place and the creative force behind their electrifying TRAUM events.

Hailing from Osijek, Croatia, on the wide Croatian East – a town that at first glance a heavy industrial atmosphere overshadows, she is making her first steps as a DJ back in 1997 before taking over European and worldwide clubs.

Her list of clubs and partys she played is impressive and includes Berghain, Rex, Tresor, Under Club, Club d’Anvers, Unter, Exit Festival, Tomorrowland, ADE and Dimensions Festival. Amongst many European clubs she played numerous tours in Colombia and recently added USA, China and Argentina to the list.

As a producer, she's had a string of releases on highly respected labels including DJ Deep's Deeply Rooted, Marcelus’s Singular and Developer’s Modularz - supported and played by some of techno's finest including Laurent Garnier, DVS1, Dax J and Ilario Alicante. Also she released the stellar Obscure Object Of Desire EP on JoeFarr's new User Experience imprint, EP for a Suara and beautiful EP for Proletarijat, label run by Sev Dah. She also contributed to Ben Sim’s compilation Tribology among giants as Planetary Assault Systems, Oscar Mulero, Steffi etc. and also made super interesting collaboration with french producer Arnaud le Texier and released EP with him for Prodigal Son.

In 2019. she released her debut album “Order is Chaos” as a double vinyl with extremely interesting collaborations with MATRIXXMAN and singer SARA RENAR. DJ Mag (UK) described album as “exciting journey thru trans-dimensional vocals, acid drenched sequences and floor obligated bangers.”

Insolate is also a major contributor to the Croatian techno scene, so much so that she was in Ibiza to receive the award for "Dance Nation of the Year" at the DJ Awards on behalf of her nation. Her and long-time partner in crime Volster also run the event series TRAUM in her native Osijek. TRAUM events have cemented their place in the clubbing calendar with quality artists like Paula Temple, Antigone, Etapp Kyle, just to name a few. The success of the TRAUM nights caught the attention of Red Bull Music Academy and Dimensions – both of which they have hosted official events for.

As a DJ, Insolate is well known for her no-compromise, pure-bred techno sets. It's clear to anyone who's seen her perform that she's an artist with a lot of experience but also plenty of inspiration and ambition, and a deep knowledge of techno. She is simply a natural presence in a DJ booth. If you've seen her play, you will know exactly what this means.
