Straight off the back of remixing Motor feat Billie Ray Martin - "Hyperlust" on CLR and following up on "Fractales" (MT-01), the relaunch release of his acclaimed MindTrip, Pfirter steps forward with "The Fall of the Empire is Imminent". "The Fall of the Empire is Imminent" is raw, powerful and tightly wound. It holds an almost familiar sound; something that brings memories of techno from years gone by, but with the added depth, intricacy and attention to details that Juan Pablo Pfirter lends to all his productions. Markus Suckut remixes on MT-02 and brings his stripped sound to his rework of "Multiverse". Keeping things simplistic and functional, Markus finds the groove, toying with bass throughout the track and letting the loop run for near seven minutes, gently tweaking FX and EQ in the light-handed and tender manner he become known for. "Multiverse" is in the same vein as "Epistaxis" from the first Mind- Trip EP. Its dark, thundering and otherworldly sounds culminate in a unique work that retains its power and functionality, but shows its strength from a lesser-seen angle. "The Fall of the Empire" is a tough and unyielding release that continues both Pfirter and MindTrip's run of form.

Aidan Rudd is a Naarm-based Hypnotic Techno producer and DJ. Starting out in Hardgroove, his sound evolved into darker, loop-driven techno shaped by heavy sound design while maintaining a focus on groove. His tracks have been released on respected labels like Transition, Duplicity, Obscuur, and Suara, with support from Dax J, Chlar, Alarico, Richie Hawtin, Yanamaste and more. Known for layered multi-deck sets, Aidan has played across Australia and is steadily building his presence in the global techno scene.

Templum welcomes Kansas City’s Uun to the roster. Known for what Hardwax has dubbed “straight ahead techno juggernauts,” he takes it to the next level here, infusing all four of the selections on this record with futuristic punctuation and deep, alien texture. The EP opens with “Xenon,” a hurtling percussive rocket ship through the atmosphere of a techno Tatooine, greeted by the robotic chorus “Welcome To Xenon,” oozing with pure sci-fi drama. Next, he ushers in “The Iconocast”—cavernous, pulsating atmospheres worming and snaking around a broken beat kick and sizzling hats. “Red Pyramid” follows, an algebraic sequence conjuring visions of an alien phalanx descending, a hypnotic and mind-bending ride for the dance floor. The droning and atmospheric “The Sycophant” closes things out, a ghost ship tunneling through deep space, with a rolling and rattling rhythmic engine.

MindTrip music, Founded by Pfirter 2006. 
Reinvented and relaunched in 2012 under the new name MindTrip.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
