One of the basic functions of electronic music is to create a stimulus and generate a response. Without this nothing makes sense. That's why Joton in this new EP intends to use his characteristic techno sound to provoke in electronic music lovers a strong response, without half measures, without filters, without prefabricated tricks. "Stimulus and Response" is composed by 4 tracks that compose a journey that moves away from the linear path and proposes a constant roller coaster of emotions.   

"Moving Forward, Not Back" - Joton Ft. Zaid was created during one of Joton's online production courses and is a clear example of the possibilities of collaborative work between teacher and student, achieving a perfect symbiosis and coordination.

"Angry Is Easier" is an example of forceful techno, hard, without concessions, that looks for the purity of the sound without half measures. 

 "Iquique" was made during a group course in the city of Iquique in Chile, during Joton's last tour in South America 2 months ago. A sample of the power of improvisation, of how in a matter of seconds you can compose a piece that gives off an unusual freshness.

"All That Glitters" stands out for its forcefulness, a strong proposal, a direct sound designed to blow up the danceflor. It is an off beat track, a perfect tool for the mix, with percussive elements that flow unbound through the stereo.

Una de las funciones básicas de la música electrónica es crear un estímulo y generar una respuesta. Sin esto nada tiene sentido. Por eso Joton en este nuevo EP pretende utilizar su característico sonido techno para provocar en los amantes de la electrónica una respuesta contundente, sin medias tintas, sin filtros, sin trucos prefabricados. “Stimulus and Response” está compuesto por 4 tracks que componen un viaje que se aleja del camino lineal y propone una constante montaña rusa de emociones.   

“Moving Forward, Not Back - Joton Ft. Zaid “ fue creado durante uno de los cursos de producción online de Joton y es una muestra clara de las posibilidades del trabajo colaborativo entre maestro y alumno, logrando una simbiosis y coordinación perfecta.

“ Iquique “ fue realizado durante un curso presencial grupal en la ciudad de Iquique en Chile, durante la última gira de Joton por Sudamérica hace 2 meses. Una muestra del poder de la improvisación, de cómo en cuestión de segundos se puede componer una pieza que desprende una frescura inusual.

He is an Italian Dj-producer who grows artistically in Naples, where he has developed an eclectic sound full of raw textures and evil beats. He has shared the Dj booth around Italy with big names like James Ruskin, Luke Slater, and SNTS, apart from releasing his music on finest labels such as Illegal Alien, Newrhythmic, Methodical just to name a few. In 2018 he launched his label “DYSTANT”, where he released his own music among other original productions and remixes from Stanislav Tolkachev, VSK, Flug, Marco Bruno, Stave, Karim Maas, Pulso, and others.

The asturian bleep experts return to homebase for an extended EP that digs deep in the depths of sci fi techno.

Bebhionn is a regular in our catalog. We've always loved his approach to music creation and again he delivers proper material.

The EP starts with the floaty Accretion Disc, lush pads, clean drums and profound sequences set the pace for the space travel.

Coma follows with his traditional bleeps over a broken kick, the sequences collide with atmospheres in the middle of the arrangement maintaining the hypnosis.

Comet get the spirit from the previous cut, this time with a solid 4/4 groove as the basement.

Empty returns to broken rhythms alternated with low frequency bleeps and alien noises.

On Gravitational Constant we go straight to the dancefloor with a relentless groove from the very beginning and asymmetrical 303 sequences floating on top. Did someone say future acid?

Zombie Planet names the EP and closes it, bringing back the bleeps and the elasticity.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
