MindTrip brings the first studio collaboration between Portuguese uprising talent Nørbak and Argentinian head honcho Pfirter. Artur Moreira aka Nørbak introduced himself to our MindTrip world with a contribution to the Mutable Minds series, which led to his debut EP 'Praying to Silence' in April 2020. Since then, he has rapidly evolved into an established producer with his own signature sound. After Pfirter's remix work on Artur's label Hayes, the two exchanged a few 'live takes' that led to four finished tracks that complete their first joint work: 'Life, Truth, Freedom, Fear'. This release is the final outcome of two artists coming from different generations, yet sharing the same view of the raw and forward thinking sound of Techno. Always looking for new track combinations, Berlin based Directivity honours the art of DJ'ing just as much as music production itself. He is focused on a fast-paced, rhythmic techno sound and plays sets filled with intricate sounds, interlocking loops and hypnotic melodies, all while maintaining an uplifting groove. Putting an emphasis on track combinations and long transitions, he's striving for mixes that are more than the sum of their tracks. Directivity has also been producing for some time now, so make sure to keep an eye out on his own productions.

In February 2020 Pfirter & Oliver Rosemann released their first highly acclaimed collaboration on MindTrip called Alpha. A year later they joined forces again for a shared release on Par Grindvik's label Stockholm LTD with 'Beta EP', a 4 tracker mainly recorded in one take.
September 2021 marks their return to MindTrip with yet another stellar record. 'Gamma' brings forward their old-school inspirations expressed in loopy cuts combined with evolving arrangements and the pair's well-known raw energy. A high point in a series of collaborations with even more chapters ahead. The Greek alphabet does not end with Gamma.

Beste Hira started her music career at a young age. While completing her high school and university education in classical cello and classical piano branches in the music department, she improved herself in production and DJing at inIstanbul studios in 2015. 
After completing her undergraduate education, she became one of the representatives of her country's underground music by sharing the stage with local and foreign names on the techno stage. The now Amsterdam based DJ, moved to The Netherlands in 2019 where she performed in various cities as well as performing in Vienna. With her music and podcasts she continues to rise as a DJ and producer in her career, with listeners from all over the world.

Following their highly acclaimed 'Alpha ep', released on Pfirter's MindTrip record label in 2020, Pfirter and Oliver are now taking the concept one step further on to Pär Grindvik's Stockholm LTD record label.
If Alpha was all about loopy old school sounding techno, 'Beta' is taking a deeper approach without reducing the raw energy that the two producers are known for.

Oliver and Pfirter have spent the last few years honing a unique writing process.
The process itself is very simple, as the pair explains:
- Most tracks start with that Oliver’ recording ‘live takes’ with his machines, then passing these recordings to Pfirter who is in charge of the mixing and arrangement.
“So far we haven't done many retakes or even had to revisit the tracks more than a few times” says Pfirter.

Straight from the Snowy Mountains of Charmonix in the Alps, Philippe has hand picked some his favourite and nostalgic records for this vinyl only mix. He had a lot of fun recording this mix bringing back many memories of being in the club...Corsica Studios, Tresor and Berghain to name a few!

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
