'Of course the original cannot be beaten, which is mostly the case with original classics. But it just has been bothering me ever since it got released way before I even made music, that the vocals were shouting 'pounding techno music' out loud while in fact, the original track is house music. That's why I made a pounding techno version! I hope you enjoy it and please drop a comment!'

'Warehouse Music' is the new imprint bought to you by London based DJ and producer Mella Dee.

The second offering is a tough but soulful reflection of Mella's stomping grounds in South Yorkshire where he was inspired by sounds coming out of Warehouses. The A places the rough and ready ‘Take It’ alongside a stripped back, percussive and driving ‘Woodlands’. On the flip, a more experimental acid tinged roller ‘Paul & Shark’.

WM002 is pressed to neon pink vinyl with a bespoke hand-stamp design of the infamous Doncaster Warehouse.

For the next release on his inestimable Turbo Recordings imprint, Tiga has recruited Leeds-based artist Viers to create a menacing EP titled 'Hurt Me' that will shake your eardrums to oblivion if not handled with care. Inspired by DIY Fetish Techno parties and the history of jungle, the four-tracker is a Turbo triumph that is not to be missed. 

Ahead of its vinyl release on September 13 (digital on Sept. 27), Viers as handed over the cut 'Gonna Get' - a high-octane roller that revolves around a big vocal jungle sample that gets repurposed for this buff techno track.

A Short Story [Warehouse Music]

A project founded by Robbe Vyt in 2012 called Mindworx, representing underground electronic music. He came across with rave electro on his debut EP called 'We Want More Power', a sublime deep-house track called 'Autumn' that has been released on Synth City Records, and a pounding techno remix of the famous 'Theme Of The Discotheque' by Samantha Fu. Currently, he is focussing on the darker forms of tech-house and techno and proud to present the 'Polestar EP' that is now available through Bandcamp exclusively.

Mindworx has been working with Reason and Ableton Live for years with nothing more than a pair of speakers and a single keyboard. Recently he found his passion in the beautiful world of vintage analog synthesizers and he started to build a nice collection to work on new music.
