Christina hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where her fondest memories are the summer music festivals and marijuana legalization rallies she attended with her father. When she was thirteen, she moved to a little town on the edge of the desert, where she attended a performing arts high school, majoring in Technical Theater. She wrote her first songs when she was nineteen and has continued to write on her own, as well as collaborating with guitarist and songwriter David Jorgensen on Ninadavo, a powerfolk and bluegrass project.

Her songwriting is informed by every experience she has ever had She draws from literature, adventures on the streets, other people’s great songs, cooking, loving and dreaming to find the story that waits to be told that will bring people together and remind us that we are all part of the human family. She tries to find herself in other people’s lives and she enjoys music because it genuinely makes people happy, which makes her happy.

Christina has had the honor of sharing the stage with Rolling Stones Cover Contest finalist Fictionist, Austin artist Carrie Rodriguez, San Diego’s Best Jazz Album of the Year 2010 winner Steph Johnson, and Seattle’s Kelly Joe Phelps.
