Always at the forefront with an active role in emerging stylistic nuances Century Media has truly shattered the barriers and exemplified diversity in extremes while remaining rooted in the underground but giving bands opportunities outside of the normal means with major league international touring, commercial radio play, and music placement in high-profile films, TV and commercials. Despite all of the years and breakthroughs the company maintains their organic, family feel and business is still being conducted by fans of the music for fans of the music.

A life long lover of nature and constantly intrigued by the natural world and the invisible world of sounds that surround us. This has taken me on a journey of trying to combine my love of exploring and documenting nature with my passion for recording and understanding sound. The idea has since manifested into a number of interesting projects and is in a constant state of evolution. I like the idea of using art as a way to understand the world of science, using imagination to explore scientific ideas beyond the limits of traditional scientific methodology.

I have built up the gear to record and capture sounds for use in films, interviews and music projects or you can check out the library of sounds. I have worked on a number of film projects in a number of different roles and enjoy working behind the camera, which has helped how I work with sound. I like being able to provide a different point of view and unique service for people who like the idea of thinking outside the box, because I live outside the box.

Thanks for listening, and for your kind comments and support over the years. The new and old studio hardware is all set up and connected.  I'm currently configuring the MIDI connections.  After that I still need to update everything and configure the software and my DAW (Cakewalk).  It should only be a few months at this point before I can start recording again.

I periodically update my website with new landscape photographs, and articles about my music.  So far there are articles regarding Jan Hammer-esque FM synth sounds and his analog techniques.  I plan to record new pieces of my own using some of those old-school techniques, and to make patches available for those sounds for the Moog Subsequent 37, U-He's DIVA, and probably other synths, such as Omnisphere, Massive, Pigments, etc.

Since 2002 we have enjoyed critical acclaim and success as Scotland’s foremost clarinet quartet, performing for music societies across the UK from Cambridge to Campbeltown, at festivals including the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Sonic Fusion Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and Glasgow’s West End Festival, and abroad at the World Bass Clarinet Convention in Rotterdam and International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest in Assisi.

The Herald

The South Wales Clarinet Choir was formed in September 2005 and gave its first public performance in the foyer space at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff. We play a wide range of music, ranging from popular classical, jazz, light music, to music written especially for the clarinet choir. 
We rehearse every other Wednesday at St Edwards' Church, Roath, Cardiff, and perform in Cardiff and surrounding towns, including regular concerts at local hospitals, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and Tŷ Cerdd. 
We currently have about 25 members, which include clarinet teachers, students, professional and amateur players, and range from the tiny E flat, to the super low B flat Contrabass clarinet. If you've never heard a clarinet choir before, you're in for a treat, we make a unique sound!
