3 years after the release of Vol. 1 with groundbreaking tracks from Namito (‘City Of Gods’), Oliver Koletzki (‘Technica Salsa’), Lutzenkirchen (‘My Girldfriends Girl’), Swen Weber (‘Samba De Bochum’) it’s now time for the second edition of Great Carnival Stuff. All tracks are produced especially and exclusively for this compilation and combine the artists’ own interpretation of carnival with their respective trademark grooves. This second part starts with great tracks from dutch house masters DJ Madskillz & Anton Pieete, Kling Klong artist Hermanez from Belgium, Argentinian wonderboy Loko, our man from Munich Lutzenkirchen, Italian stallion Heartik, Deadfish boss Mowgli, UGLH presenting their new project Bulo, and Break New Soil hotshot Romano Alfieri

Sam’s EP boot’s off with ‘Chocolate’, a track that builds and builds using detuned synths, stabs and funky drums to make any dance floor erupt. ‘Domino’ is a track that’s bassline drones underneath its own distinctive synth line to keep the drums rolling along steadily. The title track ‘Black Leather’ is everything you would expect in a Drumcode record; a subtle throbbing bass line which, keeps the track moving before the synth stabs enrapture the track and twist it into a dark, throbbing composition. The final track ‘Daegon’ uses dubbed out drums to incorporate a synth melody line that will blow your socks off and rounds off this well shaped EP.

For the first time on our label we have a collaboration EP from DJ Lion and Tomy Wahl. These three original tracks are combined with tech house elements and techno grooves, followed by hypnotic melodies and unique effects which transform this EP into a perfect ride on the dancefloor.
