Producers shrouded behind reptilian pseudonyms, snake-skin-like patterns etched onto album artworks and a tonally cool yet euphoric sound, Amniote Editions is a label with a remarkable aesthetic. Termed ‘capsules’, releases refer to the closed-off spaces of wombs carrying amniotes inside of them. At the same time, the label itself is a not-so-restricted venture and establishes a growing global creative network.

Next up in our mix series is Ida Engelhardt, a long-standing and influential presence in the Copenhagen scene. As a key member of the legendary Bunkerbauer collective, Ida has played a pivotal role in shaping the sound and culture of the community over the years.

In this 1.5-hour mix, Ida takes us on an exhilarating journey through the vibrant world of old-school techno. Her selection is infused with uplifting and euphoric tracks, paying homage to the classic sounds that defined her sound, while also weaving in a subtle touch of contemporary influences. A joyful and dreamy mix, perfect for late summer adventures under the radiant sun.

For the 12th edition of our mix series we feature a mix from Copenhagen based artist Schacke.  

Schacke is half Danish half South Korean musician who has been producing and playing sounds of a large variety of different styles since their early teens.
As one of the original members of the Fast Forward collective and agency, Schacke has played a significant role in shaping and defining what has become known as the “Copenhagen Techno Sound”.
Schacke draws inspiration from a wide range of different genres, making genre-bending fusions using a mixture of unlikely sources. With the combination of hard-hitting beats and rolling baselines their mixes are always bound together with precise execution of delicately layered textures, making Schacke’s sound distinctly recognizable yet strangely unpredictable.
In 2022 Schacke launched the label Sacred Interface, focusing on high-quality techno and trance from the local scene.

The club was still completely full, so atch22 & Alpha Tracks stepped into the booth, and a spontaneous, trancey 4-hour journey began. I was so happy to see Felix quickly embrace our "endless playground" motto. Hands down, it was the longest Ankali night ever!"
