It has been two years since the first compilation on the Various Artists series (PEVA) of Pi Electronics and the concept has stayed true to its aim: to present a coherent selection of the label’s favourite collaborators from the roster and parties over the years. Bringing together Greek and international artists, this compilation opens with a 10 minute recording by the combined forces of Orphx and JK Flesh (Justin Broadrick), from a live performance recorded in Amsterdam. Meanwhile we also showcase the resurfacing of Vofa, the joint project of producers Sawf and ANFS. There is a variety of options in this 13 tracks release; from the raw and harsh textures of An-i and New Frames, to Lycurgus live drum set recordings, Kondaktor’s African percussive electronics and Sarin’s EBM infused techno. Some more techno interpretations, such as the hypnotic moods of Stave and Fragedis, or the more punchy sounds of Restive Plaggona and Poison Green. These shape the full picture of this second Pi Electronics compilation titled ‘Divide & Rule’.

As a guide to these sounds, In Silent Series will be releasing a series of 4 track EP’s created by some of the most talented producers of the modern era using the ISS X Sounds. Today we present a stellar track from ISS founder Positive Centre and Italian artist Tullia Benedicta. The piece perfectly builds from haunting atmospheres to rhythmic experimentations for a powerful composition which lodges deep in the psyche. "The label's first release seeks to offer an initiatory experience to Forbidden Teaching's mission, namely to express the inexpressible.
The A side of the record is body oriented and is introduced with NN's "The Blood Of A White Monark", a track characterised by its forceful rhythm, cinematic breakdown and strong synths. Mind I Matter dives deeper in the EBM spectrum with "Thelema", a track featuring a
bassline that goes straight to the body and supported by an expertly crafted atmosphere, reminiscent of the notorious esoteric doctrine.
The B side of the record is soul oriented and begins with Antechamber's "The Ephemeral Hallucinations", an atmospheric track that elevates the listener to a place where earthly senses
become blurry. Nigh/T\mare concludes the compilation with his track "Unconscious Traction". It features a robust and hypnotic rhythm coupled with an intense atmosphere that leads the listener to a state where deeply buried emotions and desires could resurface."
