As we approach the end of the year I wanted to shine a light on one London artist who has already done so much for the scene and it’s community. Please welcome, Theo Komp.

Real name, Theofanis Kosmopoulos has been a leading figure in the London’s Underground scene for almost a Decade now. With his Minimal force party’s allowing artist's based on their talent and not the hype.
A chance to perform, release and be apart of their fantastic community. Theo is someone I would consider myself as a purist and a true lover of the music and it’s scene.

He also manages a pretty impressive career for himself doing what he loves and still does to this day. Whether that be Teaching music production or playing Gigs himself he makes it very clear that that music is his only passion.

On tonight’s episode I find out about Theo’s introduction to Electronic music. What made him consider teaching. And what the real drive is behind his own weekly minimal force showcases.

Daniele Batty

Born in Milan, Daniele approached electronic music as listener. The result of a long process of musical identity grew up like that. Listening dance, house and techno music.

It allowed him to express his own style.

Daniele Batty productions are marked out by a sophisticated sound which derives from past inspirations and their contemporary reflection of the actual Berlin techno scene. His techno beat is intense and vibrating, but clearly influenced as it contains elements from electro, industrial and dance music.

From 2014 Batty started also a collaboration with Dark Level, a young italian producer. They became together '' Katapult Duo '', ensemble of sounds built on a deep, psychedelic techno expression.

From 2016 he moved to Berlin.

Millennium Mixes - Promo Tribute

This mix has been made with a “collage” type of work in mind, using small bits from a lot of different tracks to make an entirely new one. This is already something I have been experimenting with when I DJ but I wanted to take things a bit further with a more precise and surgical approach which a studio mix allows for. To achieve that, I've reworked and edited 99% of the songs I used, it took ages but was a very interesting and rewarding process that basically enabled me to make whole new edits of my all time favorite tracks.

The love for electronic music developed enormously and has become an important part of his life to this day, and probably far beyond.
At the age of 22 I made my first steps on the decks, which quickly turned into an inspiring DJ with a burning passion for electronic dance music.

Melodic, progressive sound, which can be equipped with vocals, as well as drive-controlled dirty techno, according to his own interpretation, are his playground where he still likes to rock.
He feels most comfortable in manageable clubs at an advanced hour, the movement fanatics and like-minded people to electronic dance music a reason to let go, let go, celebrate, dance, and finally give the rest.
