Nach ersten Erfolgen in der Zürcher Technoszene, die Andri in der legendären Dachkantine, dem Spidergalaxy oder der Alten Börse feierte, öffneten sich ihm Tür und Tor zu den nächsten Techno-Grossstädten. Und so war die Closing Party der Berliner Bar 25 für den Zürcher keine Nacht, die ihm so schnell durch die Finger glitt, keine, die im Dickicht des Clubtreibens so schnell unterging – wenn man noch von „Life-Changing-Experiences“ reden darf, dann war dies die seine. Seither ist ihm klar, dass diese Multisensuelle Reise immer weiter geht und sich die Publikums dieser Welt mit Begeisterung anschliessen.

"Die Menschen auf dem Dancefloor sollen die Geschichte meiner Musik erleben, sich voll und ganz dem Moment hingeben und den vorherigen vergessen.“

Den Rhythmus trägt er im Blut. Den Rest holt er sich aus Filmen, aus sorgfältig geborgenen Musikschätzen und allen möglichen Instrumenten oder Devices und Knüpft die Fäden durch wundervolle Arrangements zu der Musik zusammen, die man von Andri kennt und schätzt. Treibend und rhythmisch, ohne die Nuancen der vertonten Elemente zu nivellieren. Hat ihn seinen Freigeist in unbekannte Nischen geführt, möchte er sich darin nur ungern bequemem machen. Alles, nur kein stehenbleiben!

Releases wie die Vinyl-EPs „Flash Royal“ und „The Change“ waren seine ersten Tickets zu den Bühnen der Panoramabar, der Bar25, der Pratersauna oder der Fusion. Die Liste wird stetig fortgeführt.

Avec un premier album ample et ambitieux,
Your Happy End (Découverte Haute-
Normandie du Printemps de Bourges 2010)
a déjà bâti solidement les bases de son
entreprise en kidnappant trente ans de
... musique pour l’emmener dans une virée
folle sur une autoroute en sens inverse.
« Seven windows for six dreamers »
(2009) manipulait de subtiles grenades
pop capables d’exploser à tout moment.

En 2013, l’E.P « Evening Classes »
vient conﬁrmer les espoirs des débuts
prometteurs.

Le son de Your Happy End s’est
étoffé et enrichi d’une production ma-
gniﬁant chaque trouvaille sonore. Le
groupe n’oublie jamais cette volonté
coriace de ne pas lâcher le bras de fer
avec des goûts musicaux sûrs et authen-
tiques convoquant dans une même eupho-
rie Portishead, Alt-J, Broken Bells, El-P,
Menomena et bien d’autres encore.

Des morceaux intenses et passionnés qui
permettent au duo de tracer sans aucun
encombre leur propre chemin, d’afﬁrmer
leur propre style : une pop hybride et
survitaminée.

With an ambitious first record, Your Happy End (2010 Printemps De Bourges Revelation) has already built its basics on firm ground, kidnapping 30 last years of music to carry it for a crazy ride on the opposite side of the highway.
« Seven windows for six dreamers » LP (2009) handled subtle pop-grenades able to blow up anytime.
In 2013, the « Evening Classes » EP confirms their promising start. The sound of Your Happy End has fleshed out, enriched with a production that glorifies each sound discovery.
The band never forgets this tough desire to not give up the arm wrestling match with some authentic musical tastes, calling some bands up like : Broken bells, El-P or Menomena in the same euphoria.
Intense and passionate songs that allow the duet to go its own way without any obstacle, asserting their own style : a supercharged hybrid-pop.
