Trust the Rust is back with a vengeance. The second compilation by Kri Records takes up where the previous one left off: rusty electro, occult wave, distorted acid and melancholic EBM.

We're happy to welcome back Alonzo, NY's finest, who opens the release with his signature 808 bass. Hayter pushes pitched-down vocals and filthy electro vibe further, while Chino delivers a diabolical ravey EBM banger. Serbian duo YusYus marches on with an authoritative synth anthem Masters Of The Future and Disco Morato finishes the A side with a hypnotic slow burner Ultime.

B Side opens with a bang by Parand, followed by arctic electro mist crafted by System Disorder (aka Dj Nephil). Marco Segato smoothly blended electro and jungle with the track Subconscious, Zagreb collective Lab Personnel's dark stomper might evoke fist pumps on the floor, while E.L.I.'s nostalgic piece Atonal Being rounds the release.

The need for revolt in the dullness of consensus we're giving to the ones that rule over us and the strong need to subvert a system based on injustice which limits people's opportunities - an extreme individualism which eliminates every form of humanity and uniqueness.

Recorded between Lichtenberg and Lodrone on a Dirty Multitrack.

1. RUHR - INDIVIDUALITÄT

The Mad Laboratory of Anti-Matter is the project of Nadia Daou, aka Nâr, and Paed Conca, both based in Beirut.

Nadia Daou, a multi-instrumentalist, explores music at the crossroads of North African and Middle Eastern traditions and Western experimental electronic sounds.
Paed Conca has been active for over 30 years on the contemporary and improvised music scenes as a clarinetist and bassist. He collaborates with numerous musicians and composes for theatre, dance, and film.

“Annihilation Of Denial” is their first album, recorded in one take, almost in live conditions, allowing a wide space for improvisation. Raw and industrial, the dark soundscape of this laboratory is an exploration of the void and everything one can find in it or make emerge from it: a sensory, physical, and timeless experience. The trance-like quality of repetitive music here merges with industrial noise. Intense and hypnotic rhythms, a constant search for textures and nuances, and an unconditional love for raw, total art.

We’re happy to announce a unique collaboration between one of our long time favorite artists, In Aeternam Vale and Anneq, a stunning young Madrid-based vocalist originally from Minsk, Belarus. In Aeternam Vale and Anneq met in 2011 and began to collaborate in 2015. In Aeternam Vale, originally from Lyon, has been making synthesizer based electronic music since the early 80s, when he began to self-release many of his recordings on cassette. As the years went on his cold and caustic synthpunk sound, often primitive and hypnotic evolved into rhythmic, throbbing music for the dance floor, his own unique style of techno. On this record, In Aeternam Vale and Anneq come together to create two very different versions of the same track, one fit for the club and the other a more intimate version, for quiet listening at home. Je Ai Dissous, the opener, is a dark smoky track with a hypnotic, cyclical underlay reminiscent of early industrial music while the Page R Version of the same track trandscends the floor and becomes completely filmic. Anneq’s seductive vocal is suspended in a beatless, cavernous void. Side B opens with Tendencia, a very classic catchy minimal wave style track, sung in Spanish. The V6 version of Tendencia again focuses on Anneq’s voice set in a darker, slower more atmospheric melody. The four tracks culminate in an elegant and thoughtful collaboration from these two strong talents that complement one another so well. The “Je Ai Dissous” EP is pressed on 160 gram deep purple “spilled” inside electric blue transparent vinyl, limited to 999 copies and housed in a gloss printed sleeve. Release date: November 15th. Black Pond is a collaboration of underground star Beta Evers and Jeff Galea from the legendary Eleven Pond. Known for her solo work as well as various collaborative projects, Beta Evers can be considered the godmother of German electro wave. Her beats are strict while her voice is cool and deep. Jeff Galea, who founded Eleven Pond in the mid-80s, is the master of energizing bass lines and emotional synth melodies. Deepest Chasms reflects their shared darkness in four melodic and atmospheric synthwave tracks that won't let go of you.
