Last month, WOEIFM invited me to play for their monthly show on @operator.radio. I took the opportunity to create a New Beat special because, as a New Beat lover, I've always wanted to do that! 

Belgian New Beat, often just called New Beat, was an underground subculture and music scene that thrived in Belgium during the 1980s and 1990s. It was especially prominent in Antwerp and Brussels, and eventually gained widespread popularity across Western Europe.


I also added some interview snippets from back in the day.

The label specializes in high-quality vinyl pressings of electronic artists from all over the world. Our sub-label Cititrax focuses on modern and experimental electronic dance music. Aside from limited edition vinyl releases, both labels' catalogs are available digitally as well.
