After our amazing, completely sold-out, first gig in November, Belfast Techno duo MiniMinds (Gary Dickenson and Stephen Garrett) take to the decks for a 4 hour journey into the electronic underground at one of our secret venues in Belfast city centre.
Again, the best sound system in Belfast is being deployed, so you can expect window shaking bass and crystal clear percussion all night long. This is a "Bring Your Own Beer" event but remember - no glass is allowed. We look forward to dancing with you all again until the small hours...

Progressive - Techno - Breakbeat - Space

The exhibition of actions, impulses, or behaviour that are stimulated by internal processes. Action. Reaction. Sound is a transmission of energy. Waveforms arranged to create new combinations of rhythm, texture, and harmonic frequencies.

Inspired by the raw essence of spontaneous creative impulse, coupled with an understanding of past and current trends in electronic dance music, the music of SPON.10.80 explores the sonic territory between techno and breakbeat arrangements, designed to create new experiences on the dancefloor of space and time.

Known for taking his DJ sets to the next level, continuously rocking crowds time and again, Rhines has developed a style and honed a technique that is all his own. Playing a prime selection of Progressive, Techno, Tech-House, Psy and Breakbeat sources, his style is difficult to pin down. His sets tend to defy the idea of a single genre, incorporating multiple styles into a tight, fluid & cohesive mix that takes the dance floor to new heights, becoming something new and exciting every time.

A love for rhythm and syncopation, movement and energy, and that deep, dark and dirty bass has always been the driving force behind his mixing, programming, and track selection. Rhines is a master in hypnotizing dance floors making each track he drops a part of the whole sonic experience. Break the Beat or Four to the Floor... Rhines is tapping into new dimensions of aural satisfaction with his infectious sound.

One of Innerflight Music's original DJs and co-conspirator of the label, Rhines arrived in the Northwest as a permanent fixture on the Seattle scene, producing events and holding down a 7+ year monthly event, 'DROP' with the crew, while also performing at a variety of bookings regularly. With Ninjaskillz in CA he has co-produced club nights and underground events in and around the Los Angeles area, as well as outdoor events and parties all over Southern California and Mexico.

Currently he has focused his time and energy into a Progressive-Techno artist project, producing original tracks and remixes as 'SPON.10.80' with releases for labels such as Innerflight Music, Underground Music Records, and Cloudy Moon Records.

Belfast-born MINIMINDS, a vivacious member of the UKs dynamic techno community, continues to add to his large production arsenal, with tracks featuring on labels such as HARTHOUSE, GLOBAL UNDERGROUND, RHYTHM CONVERTED, REKLUSE, RESPEKT, 8 SIDED DICE, PHOBIQ, REMAIN, FREQUENZA, HEDGEHOG, BINARY404, AKOOM, ORGANISM, DECOY RECORDS and collaborations with Spektre, Frankyeffe, Subfractal and Abnormal Boyz. MINIMINDS has paid homage to the production prowess of Brian Sanhaji, Hans Bouffmyhre, Hollen, Irregular Synth and Oliver Moldan with his remixes. While the likes of  Christian Smith, Tom Hades, Filterheadz, Daniele Papini, Sven Wittekind, Harvey McKay, Sasha Carassi, Alex Di Stefano, Axel Karakasis, On/off, Gabriel D’Or & Bordoy have enjoyed reworking MINIMINDS original output.
