UK based Fractious (Stephen Garrett) has firmly fitted himself into the international techno community over the last few years, providing his own unique blend of groove based techno.  Having caught the attention of Christian Smith, he immediately signed him to his powerhouse label Tronic and a few months after selected for the annual Tronic Allstars VA.  Kevin Saunderson followed suit signing Fractious to his KMS Records, Victor Calderone for his Matter label, DJ Boris for his Transmit Recordings and lately Kaiserdisco for their KD RAW label.  

The success of these signings can be seen by the support from Ramon Tapia, Karotte, Slam, Paco Osuna, Markantonio, Mr. C, Pan-Pot, Just Be, Axel Karakasis, Kaiserdisco, Paco Osuna and Richie Hawtin having played his collaboration with Irregular Synth at the Enter closing party in Space and for a continued 6 months.  Next came Stacey Pullen charting a Fractious remix rocketing it into the Beatport Techno Top 100 and more regular plays from Richie Hawtin, from all over the globe, not only of his Fractious productions but also artists signed to his label Dynamo Recordings (co-owned with Ronan Teague - Decoy, Naked Lunch, Binary404). One track as such from Dynamo was used in an Official Minus Tour Video and was the first track in Richie Hawtin's BBC Radio One Essential Mix recorded live from Enter @ Space, Ibiza.

Fractious can be regularly found on other well-established labels such as Trapez, Waveform Recordings, Matter, MKT, Funk'n Deep, Loose Records, Gem Records, Pornographic, Night Light to name a few.

Fractious is in high demand when it comes to being remixed, with people such as Mr. C, Secret Cinema, ROD, Luigi Madonna, Frankyeffe, Steve Mulder, Richie Santana, Danilo Vigorito, Remy Unger, Petter B, Mars Bill, Matt Minimal, Dani Sbert, The Yellowheads, Alen Milivojevic, M. Fukuda, Peter Bailey, Etai Terazi all jumping at remix requests and always being approached by big labels and podcast sites.

Fractious is kept busy in the studio and as a testament to this his gig calendar is rarely empty with bookings around the globe, having just returned from a tour of Norway, Las Vegas and with his new formed close relationship with London based MiSFiT promoters, you can find him playing regularly in London's top underground clubs and releasing on their fresh new record label M!SF!T!!

While balancing a manic touring schedule spanning hundreds of performances for his signature Hybrid live sets in over a dozen countries across the globe including key residencies which awarded him Amsterdam’s coveted Golden Kabouter award for favourite DJ of the year , 
Minitech Project has not only had multiple tracks firmly positioned in Beatport’s coveted top 20 in both peak time/driving as well as raw/hypnotic charts, but also support from industry heavyweights such as Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, and Joseph Capriati at the worlds largest techno events Awakenings Festival and Time Warp

His sights are now set on his own label imprint “Minitech Recordings” furthering his relentless pursuit of promoting quality underground music and talent. 

The label has already gained massive ground with successful events at iconic locations Paradiso Amsterdam, Chronicle Goa, Clique Malta, London Music Conference, annual official showcases at Amsterdam Dance Event, along with a weekly Radio show aired globally which has been ranked amongst A-list shows like Drumcode Radio by Adam Beyer, Tronic Radio with Christian Smith, In The Mood with Nicole Moudaber, White Noise with Dave Clarke in both the top rated and top followed shows for the month .

Belfast-born and bred, Eddie-B is a DJ and producer who came of age during the mid-nineties. This period is still viewed as a seminal moment in the evolution of the city's electronic music scene. With touring events such as Hellraiser and Vengeance regularly stopping in Belfast's Ulster Hall, Eddie was exposed to acts like Carl Cox, Slipmatt, Binman and X-Ray during his early teen years, an influence which would last a lifetime and helped mould his passion for electronic music through an extensive bootleg collection.
In the late noughties, Eddie was a regular punter at Irish clubbing institutions Lush, The Met, Planet Love, and Homelands. Eddie often ran buses from Belfast to accommodate other like-minded clubbers to attend some of the now legendary club nights. It was also around this time that Eddie bought his first pair of Sound Lab direct drive turntables and started his musical journey. A product of his environment, Eddie had cut his teeth in the golden age of trance and was naturally drawn to labels like Perfecto and Tidy Trax when digging through the crates of Belfast's record shops.
For Eddie, DJing was a hobby but never something he pursued as a career during this early period. Eddie became a father in his mid-twenties, which soon became his priority. While he never fell out of love with the music, Eddie decided to hang up his headphones temporarily.
In 2018, Eddie-B decided the time was right to revitalize his DJing career. A true disciple of technology, Eddie now uses Allen and Heath Xone K2s midi controllers, a Pioneer V10 mixer, TB-303, Ableton & Push 2 equipping Eddie to take the bull by the horns and return to the Irish clubbing scene with a vengeance. Eddie's tastes have also evolved. He now leans towards underground house and techno. He loves nothing more than to tear it up with some raw techno when given a chance. Eddie's sets often use multiple elements, including extra samples, effects and incoming sources, all routed via his V10 mixer.
Eager to make up for the time he lost behind the turntables, Eddie has already played several well-received gigs and hosted his ever-popular podcast Melodic Dissent. Eddie has also secured a monthly residency on his local radio station, Lisburn FM and online stations Bloop Radio London and Scientific Sound Asia. Ibiza Stardust and Data Transmission, the real feather in the Belfast native's cap is the monthly residency for Ibiza Club News Radio, where he is in the company of some of the industry's biggest hitters, including Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, John Digweed, Solardo, Claptone, MK, and Claude Von Stroke.
Eddie has also added an extra string to his bow in the form of production. Taking the time to master the trade and hone his sound, he has been quietly working on several prominent productions, which have now been signed to some of the industry's most respected labels.
With some natural momentum building behind him, Eddie-B is a name on the rise and will surely be heard in more conversations around clubland over the next twelve months and beyond.
