Now residing in Los Angeles by way of Chicago, house music duo Mostly Magic deliver a vinyl-only mix for this week's episode of Global Vibe Radio.

Mike Miraldi and Jordan Bernardo's musical roots run deep, and can be traced back to their years spent in Chicago.  It is no surprise, given the city’s rich history with House Music, that the two took their passion for the genre's deeper sounds and co-founded @tphsound (The Pool House) in 2012. What began as a successful event series in the city's underground club circuit turned into a record label, while Mike and Jordan continued to dive into music production as solo artists.  

Having relocated to Los Angeles, they’ve joined forces as Mostly Magic. So far in 2021 they’ve released their debut "9 Muses" EP on one of LA's most respected imprints, Culprit, with a follow-up track on the most recent Culprit VA and another single just released on Farris Wheel Recordings. With years of experience behind the decks and in the studio, this is just the beginning of what promises to be a long journey for Mostly Magic.

Sharing the stage with an array of international artists, Marco has collaborated with the likes of Alexi Delano, A.Paul, Ben Long, Billy Nasty, Carl Craig, Dextro, Dimi Angélis, DJ Emerson, DJ Ze Mig-L, Fixon, Gary Beck, Industrialyzer, Jeff Mills, Jeroen Search, Mark Flash, Mike Storm, Norbak, Orbe, Ocktawian, Rebekah, Ricardo Garduno, Ritzi Lee, Stanislav Tolkachev, Submerge, Vince Watson, Tommy Four Seven, Torsten Kanzler, Truncate, The Advent, Temudo and many others, showcasing the breadth of his musical network.
In addition to his prowess as a DJ, Marco Ramos has ventured into production, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in his artistic journey. Oscar Mulero is a techno producer and DJ from Madrid, in charge of successful record labels Pole Recordings and Warm Up Recordings. He began his career as a DJ at the end of the 80’s in Madrid, in the most experimental clubs of the city and soon ended up playing at the legendary Spanish club New World. In 1996, as a part of famous Sonar festival, the name of Oscar Mulero appeared among the list of international underground djs such as Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills. Since 1998, Oscar Mulero has released four studio albums and over 30 EPs on the labels like Tresor, Token, Semantica and his very own Warm Up and Pole Recordings. Beside this, he has developed a fully audiovisual experience with his “Light & Dark AV Set”, tested live in some of the best festivals around. His alter ego,Dr. Smoke also gained strength during this period as a showcase of Oscar’s open and eclectic vision as a music selector, moving deep into territories such as electro, dub and IDM.

His picks for Bassiani Podcast are pretty much what you might expect from the techno heavyweight, such as Oscar Mulero - an atmospheric, dynamic and moody compositions that keep the hype and energy from the beginning till the very end. Following an intense first 30 minutes, the latter half sinks into even more noisy and aggressive staff capturing Mulero’s special approach to techno aesthetic.

Marco Ramos aka Javier Rodriguez is a Portuguese bohemian DJ/producer, art, music and nightlife lover, based in Amsterdam - Netherlands. 

His excellent mixing technique and musical sensibility, allows him to easily adapt to the reality of the dancefloors, leaving at the same time his own trademark. His distinctive mixing style and eclectic sets make him a very versatile DJ, mixing from house, techno to electro. Whenever he is around one thing is always guaranteed, the party
is ON!

As a DJ he played in key clubs and music festivals in Portugal, Spain, Netherlands and Germany as Nature One Festival, Kadoc, Cais Ao Rio, Attika Disco, Domus, Indústria-Porto, Lenox Club, Sugar Factory, Reset Club, Paradiso-Amsterdam, The Crane Faralda Hotel, Tropics, Bumpers, Coimbra Dance Event and has shared stage with international artists like Alexi Delano, A.Paul, Ben Long, Billy D'alessandro, Billy Nasty, Carl Craig, DJ Emerson, DJ Rasco, DJ Ze Mig-L, Expander, Insolate, Industrialyzer, Frank Kvitta, Gary Beck, Jeff Mills, Manu Le Malin, Mark Flash, Misc., Rebekah, Ritzi Lee, Rob Hes, Submerge, Vince Watson, The Advent, Tosten Kanzler, and live acts such as Da Weasel, Terrakota, Kussondulola, Blasted Mechanism among many others.

collaborating with several Amsterdam Techno movements.
