We're back with our 8th instalment of the Pals Series, with our merry band of friends, compiling a varied aural pallet of sound and fury, music and noise.

From old friend and contributor Thomass Jackson who opens the compilation with 'Sexual Camel', to first appearances by Ackerman, Mmyylo, Günce Aci, Sid Le Rock, Martin Martin & Cali Burton ft. Sofia Trenti and Beartrax, and closing the comp again Manner of Speaking with the widescreen cinematic stop motion atmospherics of ‘Idealistic’.

@roamrecordings label head @jasonpeters returns with his latest single, We Used to Watch the Sunrise — a nostalgic and emotionally charged track blending warm electronic melodies, acid-tinged rhythms, and an arpeggiated bassline. Anchored by Jason Peters’ own vocals, the song plays like a modern rave ballad, echoing the sentiment: "I remember when we used to watch the sunrise."

@neuromancer & @radondo slow things down with a lush, mid-tempo interpretation. Their remix leans into moody 80s nostalgia, infusing the track with a goth-tinged, neo-new wave aesthetic.

It All Comes Out

Ewan Pearson can do no wrong, can he? For the best part of twenty years now, the DJ, producer, writer, and academic's been recording, releasing, remixing, and playing the kind of sensate focused house that feels like the sweatiest, most loved-up high you've ever had from a best mate at sunrise, which is why he's a firm favourite here at THUMP UK. We even considered erecting a monument to him in the middle of the office by the HR team didn't seem happy about the prospect, so we stuck to sticking photos of him all over our desk. Which makes us look like either the massive fans we are, or deranged psychopaths planning an assassination.

Just for clarity, we're the former, and that's why we're so excited to be letting you listen to Pearson's typically sublime remix of "Sleep Stream" by Berlin duo Languages.

The EP that the track's taken from, which arrives on Days of Being Wild on the 2nd of December, is the pair's debut, and it's a very strong start. Pearson's floaty and fluttering, agile and fragile, sultry and sensual remix is one of the most pleasurable refixes we've heard all year and if you're not charmed by it's lilting cosmic disco charms then, well, there's no hope for you.

The German producer @KikeamRadar returns to @DogsAndVulturesRecords, this time with 'Testament', a ray of light that  manages to keep us afloat through the cold and lack of sun . In his latest work he has managed to take his music to another level, more narrative, reflective and intimate, mixing different influences using old and new synthesizers and analog drum machines and combining them with plug-ins and digital effects.

Acclaimed French band @VoxLow takes on 'In Troubled Times' and really make it their own, in a way only they can . Elegant in its own unique right it takes the original to even higher levels with their trademark bass. We're sure this one's going to have lasting appeal and a track you'll be hearing much more of.

The  EP is completed with other excellent remixes from Nozz and  Montcosmik.

Aaro Vahtera aka Aaron Maple is a producer and DJ from Finland. He is a member of a collective and label called Free Shelter focusing on obscure and esoteric music.
Aaron Maple is mostly known for his edit releases with support from world known DJs every corner in the world. He has released music for example via Free Shelter, Dar Disku , Awesome orientalists from Europa and Serenades.

About the edit : " "I first got to know to this song via my friend Markus who introduced the Global Village's album to me. I fell instantly in love with the vocals and percussions of the Robenji Doom Doom track. In my edits there is always a functional reason why I start making one. The original track was too restless for my taste and I decided to make a bit deeper and darker than the original was. 
Vocals and percussion was the core and I made the edit around them. I added new drums and made new baseline and synth melodies. I did a massive restructuring in the song's structure and played with some effects. All the elements clicked together very well and fast I was really happy with the result. The edit works really well in the early hours in the club and also as played a bit faster in the peak time hours. Definitely one of the best edits I have made so far. "
