Hailing from Paris with Bulgarian roots, Karassimeon has
dedicated his artistic journey to the electronic sound of past
decades, mainly the 70s, the 80s and early 90s.
Disco and EBM are his conflicting obsessions : his motto is
“Glitter & Leather”. Above all, his main inspirations are
cinematographic and dystopian, embodied by artists such as
Goblin, John Carpenter and Giorgi Moroder.

His producer career started with the inevitable encounter with
Toulouse based Ritmo Fatale, resulting in the release of a
string of tracks embodying their shared passion for both the
italo-disco legacy and the French touch sound embodied by
Zone, Ed Banger or Institubes records.

Besides this, his love for the sound of the 80s results in an
ever-growing collection of edits, which he shares with his
community, spreading the love for classics such as Blue
Monday by New Order, It's A Sin by the Pet Shop
Boys...among many to come

About the Edit :

Although Karassimeon had always been a fan of Fleetwood
Mac, he hadn’t initially payed attention to this hit written by their
lead singer Stevie Nicks. The infectious throaty vocal line, both
verses and chorus, enriched by powerful choirs, was one of the
most inspiring he had ever heard.
The murder of John Lennon in December 1980 was the trigger
of Stevie’s inspiration, building upon some creative ideas she
was working on.
Both the highly symbolic lyrics, dedicated to grief and sorrow,
and the composition made this song an obvious choice for
Karassimeon’s next edit

A.P. Mono (Also Playable Mono) is a DJ and producer from Warsaw. He started DJing in 1999 but his music journey started back in the 80s, when he was growing up. Resident DJ for many clubs along Poland. He made his first steps in producing music in 1998. Along the years he used various aliases due to all the music genres he was involved in, from deep house and house to nu disco, funky and soul, from synth pop and nu romantic to italo disco. In 2015 after some break he decided to become more active on italo disco field again. He relaunched his 1980s related label under a new name and started to produce remixes and his own tracks inspired by 80s electronic music. He has remixed and produced for such artists and projects as Italoconnection, Savage, Peter Wilson, Eddy Huntington, Mike Mareen, Fancy, Fred Ventura, Knight$, Kristian Conde, Some Bizarre, Magic System, Taigher, Claudia T, Baby's Gang, Jackie Touche and produced for such labels as Flashback Records, Blanco Y Negro, Vintage Pleasure Boutique and ZYX Music.

About the Edit :

At a certain moment it really affected my emotions and I got inspired by the German, French and Dutch italo wave scene. The selection of many well-known DJs who combined fresh, progressive, minimal and lo-fi sounds in their sets with classic productions from the first half of the 80s, thus creating a unique mixture of beats, made me look at the italo scene in a different, unconventional way. Combining unobvious things settled in my head for good and I came to the conclusion that you can't close yourself only to the decade of the 80s. Italo has left its mark on dance electronic music and its echoes can be heard in club music of every next decade. Without a doubt. And so an idea appeared in my head to combine the sound of italo and hi nrg with house classics. "Music Sounds Better With You" in the italo reinterpretation has been pulsating in my head for two or three years already, but it was the enthusiasm of boys from Minitel that pushed me to make this happen. And so the italo remix of one of the most important pieces in the history of "french house" was created, which coincided with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of its release.

CYDA was born in April 17th, 1991 in Bandung Indonesia. He has a musician gene from his mother who works as Indonesian traditional singer (sinden). He began his musical career when he was in senior high school in 2007 and established a band specializing in chiptune genre.
Thenceforward, he and his musical genre were like a solid soulmate.
Musician, Arranger, Producer and DJ, his musical tastes are mostly Dark disco, italo disco, synthwave and house music.
He won several awards in the Indonesian electronic dance music industry ( 2017 producer of the year paranoia award, 2018 house dj of the year paranoia award), and promote some indonesian parties called " cyda and friends".
He released several ep and tracks  on label such as soulfooled ( alex niggemann's imprint) or Ritmo Fatale ( with the hit " Machine").
He now works also as Music Director.

About the edit :

This song really impressed me because it's my mother's favorite.  
I always remember when i was in elementary school in the 90s my mother always played this song in the morning  when i was getting ready for school. 
this has a very deep meaning for me, so i absolutely wanted to edit this track !

For his debut on Taste Rec. Jack Bags delivers a huge collection of tracks, exploring different genres by playing only hardware synths and drum machines. 

The title "Get together" reflects his approach to music and the need of contact in music but also in life and the importance of being connected with different people.

Golden hour is a Fisco Funk gem which represents his love for black music, followed by the more House-oriented Raw Cuts. The melodic shift of Yard's lights is clearly inspired by the UK sonorities that reflect his love for Warp/Relfex's records.

Finally the mighty SofaTalk completes the imaginary painted by the artist, with a mad Acid Jazz version of Golden Hour.

World Wild Web was founded in late 2018 after years of playing various instruments and leading the psychedelic band Blondi’s Salvation, the need for fresh inspiration and more artistic freedom pushed him to explore electronic music and its flexibility. His recent studies of Indian music opened up new paths for his musical creations which he is now exploring with Goa based artist Tritha who first met in 2014 at a traveling caravan festival in the South of France while touring with their respective bands. Tritha has 25 years of Indian classical music experience under her belt and is also part of the Indo-French psychedelic rock band Tritha Electric, and the Indian woman collective SPACE in addition to running sound healing workshops that conducted in India and throughout the world. In the summer of 2019, they came up with a mesmerizing set of tracks, uniting their two very different cultures into an enlightening sonic adventure which drop on HIFI/LOFI Records this July.
‘Prophet’ showcases World Wild Web’s colourful production style featuring an organic conglomerate of distinct global influences from experimental dance music, 70s psych, African electronic, Indian music and Acid House.
Tritha’s mystical vocals entice you throughout above the broken, natural percussion and oscillating sonics.The track is inspired by Sufism, a spiritual branch of Islam highlighting the need of seeing spirituality as an evolution and engagement with the inner spirt of every soul. In ‘Peacock Garden’ Tritha engages in vocals inspired by the 12th century Dhrupad rare vocal techniques – an exploration of the inner voice to outside voice through deep focus and devotion with the track offering up a low slung, laid back cut with transcendental atmospheres achieved through the uplifting Indian instrumentals. 
HIFI/LOFI Records welcome a legend of the DFA Records family to the label, in the name of The Juan MacLean with a trippy remix full of punchy arpeggiated stamina, revolving synth flutters and cosmic waves. Last but not least, label boss Franz Matthews finishes the story by grounding us back to Earth level, with a darker version of
‘Peacock Garden’ that will satisfy every amateur of World-infused downtempo disco.
