Melómana opens the year with a compilation that brings together producers who have marked and defined the musical orientation of the label. Its reference 039 is not only a testimony of long-term work, it is also the announcement of what is to come this year 2024.

The compilation brings together songs by artists such as Panka Panka, Azaria, Yahaira, JGR, Jackwasfaster, Ludviq, Nick Hanzo, Macaulay, Mijo, Pastor in Vegas, Rubinskee, Ademarr, Joseeph. Established talents on the scene, as well as emerging projects, offering an approach as designed for the track as it is for home listening. Altogether, we find fused rhythms and rich soundscapes that lead us to an exploration as fluid as it is captivating. The album offers us a dynamic contrast that shows the versatility of a timeless project, created from talent, meticulousness and sonic coherence.The level of production of these guys is intense but, on the other hand, the care of the sounds they release is at the level of those who do things because they want and with the time they really need. The tracks have strength and jump over the prevailing conventions, knowing how to avoid the most recurrent rawness and darkness, seeking dance but without predictable tricks and without exceeding an understandable level of experimentation suitable for the dance floor.

We could say that each producer summarizes their intentions in this compilation, seeking novelty without losing nostalgia, that they play with the genre but without falling into predictable tricks, nor into the arrogance of those who get wrapped up in a genre or mannerism to demonstrate that They have personality. And this is just the beginning, because this year Melómana is going to bring us many surprises.

The nations of Bosnia and Hungary collided and brought together a new e-music duo: All Eyes On You, despite having been formed not so long ago, already counts with a strong local backing amassed due to their second to none melodic and dark art sets. They started producing only this year – probably as a result of a tedious lockdown – and will finally have their debut release on the alluring UK-based label Paradiso Records curated by respected DJ and producer REES.

For the extra-terrestrial, darker disco lovers out there, AEOY have cooked something beautiful for you: “Red Planet”, the track we chose to premiere, brings a fat bassline, menacing FXs/risings, and a throbbing synth layer that perfectly showcase the sharpness and the sting of their production skills. 'Hypercube' is a progressive indie-dance cut filled with crystal clear production. The central motif is a melancholic melody that will move your spirit as much as it moves your feet.
The post-punk feel of 'Modelo 303' is proper dark disco: organic bass guitars combine beautifully with lush synths to create a swirling mass of dancefloor bliss.
The vocals of Northen Lite deliver a call-to-arms on 'Pacemaker'. This massive main room bomb will ignite club and festival floors alike.
Mexican producer Paulor adds some dirty grit to his remix of 'Pacemaker'. Expect the thick guitar riffs and driving bass to do some dancefloor damage in a dark, underground setting.
