20 year dance music industry veteran John Noseda makes a standout debut on Agoria's Sapiens label with a new single featuring Surahn that very much shows off his subtly euphoric and truly emotional house sound. Adding to the essential package is a remix from disco icon Prins Thomas. 

Belgian born Noseda has been running clubs and events such as Kitsch Club, Club 69, WECANDANCE and more recently John The Club and Klub Dramatik Festival for many years. He recently branched out into production after decades of collecting records and DJing, and has a real analogue sound that is perfectly escapist. He has unconditional love for disco, Italo, EBM and house that always shows in his music. It has already been played at iconic clubs like DC10 and Berghain's Panoramabar, and here he works with Australian DFA, Sony and Future Classic artist Surahn to stunning effect. Surahn has played every major festival on the planet from Glastonbury to Coachella, topped the Billboard charts with his collaborative album with Usher and is a founding member of pioneering disco band The Swiss. Always pushing boundaries with his music, he is a world renowned talent who brings real class to this track. 'Our Time Will Come Again' is a deeply immersive house roller, with lush sunset chords and balearic keys that take you to the beach. The mood is melancholic and thoughtful, with gorgeous breakdowns and Surahn's spine tingling vocals adding another layer of emotion that makes a lasting impact. The dub version strips things back to the warm, rubbery beats and perfectly lazy grooves that encourage you to sink and allow your mind to wander. 

Then comes the dazzling remix from Prins Thomas that displays all the usual melodic magic and escapist grooves the world has come to expect from this Nordic icon. He is boss of his own Full Pupp label and deals in neo-disco, house-not-house and plenty in between. He is famously laid back but his sound is super luxurious and has very much defined an era.

Under thick lashes she surveyed the room, searching it with a stare that could kill. Here, some admired her and others dispised her, as long as they were talking about her she didn't care which way their allegiance lied. Day in, day out she returned, hoping that on the off chance he'd have the courage to come back and show his face. Though if he ever did, he'd have to pay the consequences.

We all know Liepzig is something of a hot bed for incredible music, and a new band to add the frowing list of artists and labels from the German city is New Hook. The three piece female group bring together influences in new wave, post punk and synth pop, creating their own heady, low strung sound. Having contributed to local label Riotvan's Familiar Faces compilation earlier this year, they now make their debut on Curses' Ombra International imprint matching beguiling vocals with seductive synth melodies and woozy guitars.

Exclusive: Can Love Be Synth - Lemon Cake

Hailing from Hamburg Katja Ruge and Frank Husemann better known as Can Love Be Synth  deliver a jiggly Lemon Cake out of the oven that's potentially burning its warm synth lines into any dance floor. As part of Ombra International's next various artist EP, which simply goes by the name of the imprint's catalogue number 016, label head Curses selected musically noticeable cuts from artists that keep the electronic music scene either going or have shaped it in one or the other way for years. Latter, for sure, counts for Can Love Be Synth who not only release synth-driven music from time to time but also host events in and around the Hanseatic city of Hamburg and occasionally in Berlin. While Frank operates as the tech-guy Katja tosses in her creative being, which she addtionally catches up as a photographer. The result or this time's outcome is Lemon Cake, one fifth of the big pie Curses baked and Can Love Be Synth now decorades with intriguing chords, brassy guitar riffs and trancy pads, which all together give rise to a futuristic creaking sound composition that's floating back and forth between sacred moments and a lose-control-rock-concert right within a dark sweaty club.

Ombra International's V/A EP 016 will be released on November 13th, 2020.
