Sincopat is proud to present a new interesting chapter in our story. gizA djs duo has been
on our radar for a while. The Italian duo delivers a timeless EP accompanied by the label's
Big Kahuna, AFFKT.
To start with an ode to the acid sound we have Acid Morning. Its hooky lead will make you
travel to the depths of the duo musical universe.
AFFKT's re-interpretation has a ripping bass, a raw and powerful sound. As always,
understanding the purest of their essence but taking it to his own territory.
Acid Nacht leads us into the darkness, a cinematic and intense trip into Psychedelia that
will kill the dancefloor.
Rivolta brings us back to the light to perfectly close the circle. An exciting break plus an
explosive and colorful drop, a futuristic piece of music for daydreaming.

Javier Ferreira and Persona RS, the electrifying duo, returns to Duro Label with ‘Shifting Sands’ EP. The sonic masters duo are ready to dazzle once again with their creativity on this work. Following their astounding appearance on the ‘Muy Duro Vol X’ compilation, these skillful producers come together once more on a sonic journey that blends the intricate nuances of trance and techno, creating a unique musical experience.

The record kicks off with a hypnotic awakening through the original version of "Shifting Sands". This track is a whirlwind of energy, a fusion of acidic elements and dreamlike atmospheres. The journey delves into a new dimension with Elfenberg's remix. The virtuoso Swedish producer transforms "Shifting Sands," bringing his distinctive approach to the mix. With its broken drum rhythms, resonating basslines, and acidic melodies, Elfenberg weaves a hypnotic sonic tapestry. The addition of ethereal vocals and celestial pianos creates an astonishing sound palette.

The journey culminates epically with the striking "Trompe." This track is an adventure in itself, with synthesizers weaving hypnotic patterns as rhythms and vocals gradually fade away.

Javier Ferreira and Persona RS's "Shifting Sands" EP will be available on all major streaming platforms starting from September 22, 2023.

In preparing this mix I tried to envision how I’d play a 3.5-hour festival slot on a warm day in the Australian bush. That moment is one that has helped form me as an artist, and it’s something I also aspire toward as a DJ, so I hope this translates to the listener.

This was the first time I have prepared a studio mix instead of recording live, which had its own set of challenges, but I know I’ve grown from the experience immensely. Thanks to the team at Flow Music for having me, I truly hope you enjoy my mix.
