Tech Support continues his Midas touch delivering EBM-flecked electro across three original tracks with his debut EP on Nocturne. The London-based, Brighton producer has been making waves following a series of strong releases, recently dropping records on Lobster Theremin, Futureboogie as well as contributing to the popular Nocturne charity compilation "From Belfast with Love II."

The For The Time Being EP kicks off with Tigris - a marriage of industrial eighties drums that wouldn't sound out of place in a NIN track, complimented by a woozy lead, taking us into the witching hour for the late-night heads-down generation.

Eated Soup is Tech Support on playful form, with a low-slung bass driving offbeat drum machine workouts - a cleverly programmed 808 jam that will fit perfectly in sets of DJ's across the board as tongues continue to wag for the slower tempos.

The tension is firmly raised with the third track on the EP - on Box Model, Tech support finds an anchor in cleverly automated bassline squelch, driving the club forward with more than a little help from squealing synths and a more analogue touched lead than the previous offerings. Box Model could find a home across a range of dancefloors, from the intoxicating and intimate through to the more melodic.

Continuing the Nocturne ethos of sidestepping flash-in-the-pan hype artists, Anatolian Weapons steps up to the plate for remix duties, with the Astros Bar resident taking Tigris up a notch into an inebriating peak time exercise for the sweatboxes.

The aim of the series is to create a go-to collection for those looking for original up-and-coming talent from around the globe. And as with
all Sinchi releases, profit from sales go to the Sinchi Foundation which supports indigenous peoples worldwide.

Freakazzé II is a DJ and production duo from Hamburg that roams between slow rave and dark disco, wavy 80s synths and punk drums. Their brilliant 'Blaupause' is a heavy plodder with frazzled synths searching the face of the soot-black groove.

French minimalist electro and cold new wave sounds define the music of Nomenklatür. They have so far released their ravey take on techno on Bass Agenda and Beachcoma and here excel with 'Keeping Distance.' It pairs ice-cold drums and hits with meandering guitar leads that bring a sense of real-world melancholy next to the cosmic chords.

Mexico's Oscar Avendaño aka Levantine plays bass and keys inspired by the Madchester era. He is a storytelling artist with credits on labels like About Disco Records, Hype Muzik and many more. His 'Ultradisco' is a chunky post-punk take on disco with plenty of raw attitude, hypnotic chord vamps and jangling melodic fragments.

Leo Af Ekenstam is a newly emerging alias from a Swedish artist who has been making music for years. With this project, he brings a dark disco sound exemplified by 'Stanford Torus.' It is a spacious and cinematic cut with pulsing bass and slapping hits that jerk you into action as the ambient pads up top bring a pensive mood.

Vladislav is the man behind Orchid, a producer with a penchant for the 80s and 90s era of electronica. Now based in Moscow, he has released on U’re Guay Records and Esthetique already this year. 'Erotica' is a steamy post-disco track with a libidinous female vocal and retro-future chords that bring a real atmosphere to the club.

Paris-based Zaratustra started out making techno but has moved into more melodic sounds with productions coming on Planet Ibiza and Kosa Records soon. House, techno and EBM inform his sounds. 'Thoth' is an adventurous and epic track that builds slowly on a muted acid line before the surging deep house drums voyage off into the stars.

Altered States Vol.5 is another diverse and essential collection of fresh club sounds from hot emerging talents.

After numerous releases in the past 12 months, Tel Aviv based Eliezer (@laze_65), joins Play Pal Music (@playpalmusic), along with friends of the label, Mufti (@muftimx) Skelesys (@skelesys) and Ackerman (@ackerman_music) to deliver 'Ritmica La Noar', three guitar laden sonic meditations backed up with remixes from French duo Kimshies, who pushes the tempo and stretches the fabrics weaving together a patchwork of fear and
loathing,  Modular Project who pulls the guitar and twisted harmonics from 'Don't Be', using them to create a widescreen technicolour opiate laden take and Tyu who rebuilds 'Halalit Ushma Tshuka' into a more tribal understated and up-tempo mutant dance rework.

Eliezer feat. Skelesys  - Don't Be [Play Pal Music]

Mau Maioli presents his first album "Where Go", through the nuances of Indie Dance, which combine timbres of Italo Disco, Synth Wave and Indie Rock.

In eight tracks, Mau demonstrates his aptitude and willingness to musically express his feelings lived between the years 2021 and early 2022. With reflections involving the universe of mental health, he seeks with music to show the importance of care for the mind.

In "Brain Voices" Mau begins his journey introspectively and somewhat melancholy. This is a characteristic of Mau and in the introductory track, the artist already shows timbres that will be heard throughout the eight tracks.

A little Italo? In "Hands", Bad search in his Italian descent a little of what the country gave to the world. With the use of clapping samples, the music gives us the feeling of being on some stage.

In collaboration with Lapax, the duo created "Nostalgic Beings". The track mixes not only the timbres of the past, but seeks in nostalgia to express the feelings that both Mau and Bruna are linked. The singer translated her routine as a nostalgic and reflective way and that’s what you hear in music.

The track Title, "Where Go", goes through another side of Mau. Here the artist rescues his influences from Indie Rock. A little slower and melancholy, where you can hear the voice of Mau, who first appears in an authorial work. 

In collaboration with Vasconcellos, the duo of artists unites their energies and creativity for the "Strings of Hope". In difficult times both Rafael and Maurício saw in the song a happy ending and thus created Strings that represent a little of this hope. The song is accompanied by an arpeggiated bass and groovy drums. This combination takes place through one of the most danceable tracks of this work.

Franz Scala offers the first remix of 'Homme Fatal'. He is a long-time friend of Vamparela, with whom the used to organise parties together in Thessaloniki before moving to Berlin. Franz is now the label head of Slow Motion and New Era and is known for running the infamous Italorama parties in Panorama Bar. His diverse sets weave smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, quickly turning the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave. Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica and Discodromo's Cocktail d'Amore Music and frequently inspires dancers in clubs and events all over Europe. While preserving the catchy, stuttering bassline and 80s break drums, Franz's remix softens the track for a more melodic rework with lush synths and gentle, reverb-heavy vocals.

Sapphist Eye -  Exist Everywhere

So many new and interesting acts out there. You need to keep your eyes and ears sharp to filter and avoid missing some proper stuff that comes out literally hourly. A good tip to "dig deep" is to follow the releases of labels that dare to publish the work of the still unknown but promising faces. The Mexican outlet Kyma Komplex is one of these imprints. They open the doors one more time for Joici Borges and Manuella Wintrich, the two parts who form the complex mosaic of sonorities of the Brazilian duo Moozeic.

After remixing Veltrán's "Noches" for his debut on Quixotical Records, Moozeic became official artists of Kyma, having appeared with originals and remixes three times since then. Their fifth incursion, "Continuum 6", is a six-track EP featuring two intriguing originals and four insightful remixes made with love by Cometran, Luca Lucena, Forest Louche, and Lorran.

Premiered here, Forest Louche's version comes packed with his traditional "acid nature" sonority. With entrances on Shango, Inner Shah, Ulla, Levels Rec, Ohxala, and Subliminar, just to name a few, the also Brazilian producer, for his take on "Pandora 9", decided to slow things down a notch by bringing the 126 BPM of the original to his 120 turf. With personal tweaks & touches here and there, the result is a less complex and more House-meets-Disco-meets-Tropicality cut - the "acid nature" outcome mentioned above.
