French artist Back From The Wave joins Roam Recordings with two original hypnotic burners. 
The EP starts with Brothers which builds with lush pads and gritty synthwork. Mother’s Mind takes a more reflective approach and continues to build the trance inducing journey of the EP.
The EP is backed by remixes from French compatriot Endrik Schroeder and Roam alumni Rigopolar. Endrik Schroeder is up first with his dreamy and melodic take on Brothers. Rigopolar rounds out the EP with a laid back version of Mother’s Mind with beautiful vocoder work accentuating the mellow vibes.

PREMIERE : Kabinett - El Palancazo

It has been a while since Silicodisco’s previous appearance on Espacio Cielo: on the occasion, he teamed up with Italian virtuoso Futuristant (SXDNS353/FREEDL042) to deliver a powerful cosmic-infused cut for the volume 2 of “The Sky Sampler” series. Since then, the acclaimed Spanish producer had his works published on respected labels such as Critical Monday, Quixotical, Roam, Aeon, Rotten City, and Slow Cycle, resulting in even more recognition for his solid career amid the dark side of music.

For his return on Espacio, he brings to life two oh-yeah-baby-right-there originals, one in collaboration with the rising Argentinean artist Abby Knives (SXDNS299), and invited none other than Vhyce and Jesu Aparicio, the label boss himself, for the remix duties.

Premiered here, Silicodisco’s “Miami” is not a track that would pair with a pool party at the sunny “Magic City”. Its intensity and turbulence do not go well with mojitos or fancy cocktails. No. Dark dance floors are the natural habitat of this beast and its frenzied synth layers, laser-like effects, and sort of menacing aura.

Kicking off the New Year by announcing: "Nube Diamante," a collaborative single EP featuring an insane talent combination between Andrea Lacoste, Mystery Affair and Azaria. The release is set to drop at the end of January 2023 and the original is sure to be a floor banger with a spectrum of sounds and lyrics that unfold like an exciting experience.

"Nube Diamante" showcases introspective personals with peak time elements, a piece reinterpreted via outstanding remixes from some of the hottest names among the indie dance / dark disco platforms. CHAS remix is a tropical trance with latin  touch, powerful bass and cowbells, then straight from Guatemala, Fabio Me Llaman Soltero brings to the table a  neo dpop psychedelic pachanga driven by antagonic grooves. This EP also includes a remix from Ivan De La Rouch, head honcho at Logical Records, a special collaboration from the Spanish artist Parissior and a bonus vocal rework from, Mastered at [Rec Division Studios] and Artwork by Lebollet

Andrea Lacoste, Mystery Affair, Azaria - Nube Diamante [Logical Records]

Synth aficionado Marcus Christiansen has been slowly carving his name in stone as one of the artists to watch amid the rich and prolific Nu Disco/Indie Dance scene. His strategy – releasing ace stuff usually with heavy doses of cosmic arpeggios and retro-futuristic elements –, so far, has been working flawlessly. With well-received appearances on vital labels such Espacio Cielo, Mélopée, Emerald & Doreen, and Weirdos, he lands now on Ilya Santana’s (SXDNS072) Astrolead with “Euphoric Escapade”, a four-track synth extravaganza (originals only, by the way) that showcases some of the many virtues of the rising Swedish producer. 

The track we were solicited to review/premiere is undoubtedly one of the finest cuts on the EP, in our humble opinion, and works as (another) proof that creativity and mastery tend to be highly present in Christiansen’s modus operandi when in studio. The title track is an ingenious and groovy 110-BPM theme with a beautiful Balearic gait triggered by melodic leads, generous synth portions, and a rhythmic percussive layer. Trippy and highly danceable, the way we like it!
