Newly established label, production duo and radio hosts Rain World have compiled together a ‘pay what you want’ 100% donation based VA raising money towards the amazing Youth Music Foundation charity. The album features tracks from all friends and family - spanning from drone, ambient, chug, post punk, new wave, jungle and all things in between.

What the Youth Music Foundation do:

“Each year more than 350 Youth Music projects are happening across England. That’s around 83,000 children and young people regularly making music. We invest in music-making projects where they’re really needed. Bringing opportunities for children to learn a new musical genre in a town where not much happens. Supporting a ground-breaking initiative in a deprived part of a city. Responding to difficult challenges like young people at risk of radicalisation.

Communities divided by prejudice or gangs can be brought together to perform. Writing lyrics can enable a bereaved teenager to express their grief. Making hip-hop beats can help a kid understand maths in a way they never grasped at school.
Being young can be hard. And we know that troubles don’t end the moment you hit 18. That’s why we work with children and young people from the moment they’re born right up until the age of 25.”

ETANE is an alias for Evgeniy Tanaisov, the producer and DJ from Saint Petersburg, Russia. He curates the dark disco syndicate ‘Oberwave’ and keeps himself busy residenting for the electronic community ‘Intertrax’.
Evgeniy started his musical career back in 2016 as a resident DJ of Mishka bar in St.Petersburg. At the beginning ETANE produced an atmospheric electronic music, however later his musical preferences has gradually changed towards "the darker sides" of disco & house, EBM & new beat. In his works ETANE refers listeners to the musical aesthetics of the 80s, urban themes and esoteric, ethnic motives.

We are very proud to present Per Ardua II, the second in our Per Ardua series. Taking its name from the latin for "Through Endeavour" the Per Ardua series aims to explore different sonic territory from our usual mainstay and to delve deeper into the rich strata that make up 170bpm music.  

Taking several years to curate, we have put together eight tunes that, while from different producers, all share strong thematic elements. All parts melodic, gentle and emotive, the eight tracks are each a celebration of everything that 170bpm music can acheive and a reminder that drum and bass doesn't just have to be about processed breaks and huge basslines. 

From everyone here, we sincerely hope you enjoy the LP as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.
