It’s been months since I’ve last released an edit which, as you know, is one of my favorite studio delights.

Lovelock is the moniker of Steve Moore, a major musician and producer in the synth/movie scene. His Burning Feeling album from 2012 is a new-wave and italo masterpiece which contains many gems, among which Love Reaction. This tune caught my attention because of this intoxicating chorus. 💫

Packim, from Italy, is far from a beginner.
After signing in recent years with the renowned labels Exploited, Multinotes or Nothing Is Real, we are happy to have him with us.

For his debut on Mélopée Records, he hits hard with two fresh and retrofuturistic original tracks.

“Acid Cocktail” is a true acid anthem to happiness and life.
The main melody continually resonates in our head, carried by a rhythm from best Packim’s drum machines.
Then, in the break, the piano House enchants the souls.
And when the track drops, we are carried away in a burst of joy and smiles.

The second one “Horny Run” is also full of good feelings.
Light and sparkling, the music wanders between acid, house & Italo touch.
A pure 90s inspired dancefloor retro hit !

Welcome to the wonderful Modular Project to remix the eponym track.
The Milanese duet drops here a pure house banger, repeating the second melody in a groovy piano version and always keeping an acid touch. Perfect one for Indian summer.

Our second remixer is none other than the talented Micropacer.
He brings to the title “Horny Run” a real additional vibe between Italo and Synthwave.
The chords are mastered, beautiful, sensitive.

Jo Kazan, a French DJ and producer now based in Barcelona, is the founder of RetroFuture events and Kazanova Club, as well as the Label Manager of Cabana Libre Records. Jo’s sound masterfully blends our favorite elements: Italo, Trance, and Dark Disco.
