At long last, Plimsoll Records is back with the release of “Luv’d Up” by The Secret Garden.

Conjuring rich soundscapes of summers past, present & future, long time beat maker & crate digger Alex Vickers returns as The Secret Garden, 25 years after his debut on the classic 7th Voyage Label was released to wide underground acclaim.

“Luv’d ub” is a natural response to a year in need of imagination more than ever, featuring low-slung balearic thump, an uplifting bassline, and chants of “L! O! V! E! Love!”

The remixes start off in epic fashion with a psychedelic and spacey dub-disco mix from Mat Hoods, who is a Plimsoll co-founder and one half of the Automats. The dolphins will save us!

Next up is a remix from post-rave production duo Daudhaus, made up of Rod Devonshire and Anthony Leonard (Lenodd). They add a deep house bounce, keep the “Love!” vibes deep while they up the energy with a press of percussion, and a lift in the second half.

Plimsoll Records founder Shoes, rounds out the package with their remix incorporating funky mid-tempo disco breaks, and a cut-and-paste break down collage of “Love.”

Open your ears, open your heart, and move your body and mind. To escape, to create and as importantly as ever, to love - deeply, bravely - and to let those you love be in no doubt of how you feel.
