DejaJoelle is an interdisciplinary artist and dancer based in West African movement. Her work revolves around living and teaching self love, focusing on the body and guiding others to heal from past traumas. She is also the Artistic Director of the dance company BLAQ that incorporates American Sign Language (ASL) into its movement vocabulary.
