Soulful Music from Wellington, NZ.

When you listen to the music of Wellington band Brockaflower, you hear elements of electronic soul, brassy big band funk, future beats and hip-hop coalescing together. 

Inspired by D'Angelo, Electric Wire Hustle, Fat Freddy's Drop, J-Dilla and Little Dragon, over the last four years they've gone from jamming in a cold basement to headlining sold-out shows nationwide. Along the way, Brockaflower has played some of New Zealand's largest summer music festivals, released their debut album 'Build It', and connected with a community of like-minded musicians and music lovers around the country. 

A colourful and diverse nine-piece, when their horn section, rhythm section and three vocalists hit their collective stride, expect to be wowed by one of the most eclectic and captivating live shows in the country.

After cementing themselves in New Zealand’s live music scene, Wellington-based band, Tunes of I, are signalling a time of growth and a change of musical direction. Meet their new incarnation: TOI; a cosmic collision of soul, funk and pop.

Affectionately called TOI by close fans, the name change marks a new era for the six-piece ensemble.

TOI has performed as Tunes of I twice at Spark Arena, first in support of Red Hot Chili Peppers and then Tash Sultana. No strangers to the festival stage, they have performed throughout Aotearoa at many festivals, including a tour with Fat Freddy’s Drop. They have toured Australia and NZ multiple times in support of their good friends Ocean Alley, and have shared the stage with Sticky Fingers, UB40, The Original Wailers, Troy Kingi, Katchafire, The Black Seeds, L.A.B and more. 

Their live performances are the key to their success; high-level production and sound seamlessly enhance the talents of this experienced touring band. Teaming up with the legendary Devin Abrams (Drax Project, Pacific Heights, ex-Shapeshifter) to executive produce their upcoming EP, there are no limitations for this exciting new stage in their musical journey.
