Jules Etienne is a french producer-composer and a performance musician based in Berlin. His work covers a wide range of genres from electronic music to singer songwriting. His latest projects are J.E.E.P. and "The Egyptian Nipples" with Massimiliano Pagliara on Apersonal Music. He collaborated with Quarion as "The Hints" on Retreat. Jules is also the Singer of the Band "Jules Etienne E Le Volpi", the producer and drummer of Lemercier’s project "Lala by" on My Favorite Robot, one third of [sic!] on Meakusma, and one part of the house music duo “Gui.Tar” on Careless Records and Punkt Musik.

WATP 053 by Kezz aka Tamara Ristić (@kezztamara) - a producer, live looping artist, singer-songwriter and a music performer from Serbia, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The new form of her gigs is a hybrid of live performance and DJing, where she mixes her own production and mesmerizing live singing with electronic and various music styles.

Her newest music project, Tijamara, is with her also talented sister, Tijana Ristić, where they combine electronic music with elements of local heritage. They released their first track, „Plač majke Srbije“ (Cry of Mother Serbia) this summer that encapsulates how so many young people currently feel in the country. They have a new EP coming out this year with Tijamara where Tamara continues to refine her already powerful vocals combining her background in ethno music to an electronic sound to hair raising results. The sky is the limit for this talented duo.

It's an honor to have her on the show and we all look forward to what the future will bring for this one of a kind talent!

Headcast No. 26 is delivered from Wroclaw, Poland by our good friend DJ Duch.
Also known as DJ Ryan R, we already invited him as a guest at Fusion-Festival’s Seebühne in 2019, when we curated parts of the music programme. As DJ Duch he discovers and explores the little-known and hard to come by music of the 1990s from countries of the Eastern Bloc. This mix is a brief introduction to the sound of 1990s Eastern European club music. A very refreshing - and most probably impossible-to-find - selection of Deep House, Electro, Breakbeat, and Technoish gems, most of them from Poland, Russia as well as Yugoslavia. DJ Duch describes his enthusiasm for this distinctive music from a unique period of cultural, social and not at least economical transformations as following: „The thing that makes this music unique and interesting in my opinion is the mixture of lack of skills and experiences (many artists in Eastern Europe knew club music just from radio stations and had never been in „proper” club) with great motivation and hope to make it big in the West (which in most cases sadly didn’t happen). After many years of oppressive regime (also concerning art and culture) eastern part of Europe witnessed true explosion of creativity - wild, sincere and with high hopes.“
