im not sure what i was thinking when it came to this track, i just knew it was going to be difficult trying to make this into a rock song. I had debated swapping out ‘close’ with his new song based off ‘your name’, but i had already committed to what i put on paper so i wanted to continue. playing around with the preset drummers introduced me to the idea of a second rainy day mashup, jisungs song writing tends to lean towards the chill side and rarely makes me want to twist it into something heavier. his music suits being slow, letting you delve into what he’s singing about and what he wants you to feel.
