Of Shadows And Lights (shorten OSAL) is the moniker used by Angelo Pitone from Bari, Southern Italy. His musical adventures as OSAL began in 2018 when the EP Visions was released. 

At the end of 2019, he decided to work on his first album, mastered by Grammy Awarded Giovanni Versari (won with Muse 's Drones). 'Unaware Passenger' has been included in the playlist 'All New Rock', and thanks to Spotify's editorial backing, his first album Almost Prophetic Visions and Thoughts got recognition on several music blogs from around the world. Among the most significant, stand out two reviews in which the authors claimed: 

"From beginning to end Almost Prophetic Visions And Thoughts is just a great record" (Smith, 2021) | US;

"His debut album arrives straight in your face like a velvet punch, a clear sign of his artistic maturity" (Rockit, 2021) | IT;

"Angelo is able to effortlessly draw you into the story of his music” (Mendes, 2021) | (UK).

Thanks to a combination of massive instrumental arrangements and soaring vocals, OSAL has been heavily influenced by Queen, Freddie Mercury, Led Zeppelin, Muse, Nothing But Thieves, Foo Fighters, Train, As Tall As Lions. His music rides through the popular Rock and Pop anthems of the latest three decades, including modern Indie Rock, Alt/Rock grooves and cinematic quality songs. 

New EP "The Search For The Beloved" out on 14th February 2025.
