Matt Zentrix originated on the west coast of Canada, growing up in the rain drenched temperate rainforests, clear rivers, and salt stained beaches of cascadia.  He used to spend hours staring out of car windows listening to music and dreaming.  Now he travels the world and shares that music with all manner of strange and beautiful people, dancing together under jungle canopies, in abandoned warehouses, and on foggy mountaintops.  When it all comes together there is nothing better.

Medular is a modular/analogue based psytech live act based in Mexico City that uses continuous exploration around the blending of live and acoustic instruments with dance floor oriented solid funky beats,  which has emerged from the union of Pablo Peniche (aka Xom Pax) and Brun González (aka Brun Balanced),  releasing music with Anarkick Records(Holland ), Blind Arc(Portugal), Techgnosis Records(Canada), Undergroove Music(Mexico),Traum Schallplatten(Germany) and Digital Diamonds (Germany).

It drives from experimenting with live synths and hypnotic jam sessions that coalesce into beautifully evolving tracks and elegant acid beats.

This aesthetic comes from trying to bring the psychedelic glitch Spirit into minimal techno in a freer and experimental way that is alive and breaths from the interaction of the digital and analogue entities.

Big EDM is a Music Label and Sound-Design company that was established in 2015 by Roman Trachta – the founder of another well-known sound-designing company W. A. Production. This label is following in W. A.'s footsteps, and is only creating and releasing the most current and mammoth sounds, samples, loops, construction kits, and much more for thousands of producers who want to add fresh ideas to their production. Big EDM will provide their products to all genres including electro, progressive, deep, tropical, future, dubstep, trap and many more.

My sideprojects which seem to pop up as Cinematic soundscapes, Ambient, and drones without forgetting Post-Rock and Post-Metal (with progressive hints) as the more musical projects I like to be involved in to spin things around a bit. The newest endeavour I'm embarking on is mixing music. Loving the challenge so far.

Each track will have the project's name on the song name too so you can easily identify which is which. 

More recently I've dived in to the world of neurofunk and d'n'b. Ah well - almost all of them by checking out Traktor controller. Prepare to receive occasional mixes of songs I enjoy and have purchased through Beatport and Bandcamp. 

I hope you enjoy my musical journey which have included a lot of different projects, different instruments, different approaches and situations. Also producing, recording, editing, mixing have entered my palette heavily.

The realistic goal of all this is to find my "cup o' tea" and pursue that shit heavily and release a solo record when I've cooked them enough. Slow-cooking really brings out the flavor, or so they say. Don't know. Maybe I just need a bit more motivation and finish what I've started.
